If you need to replace old roofing screws that are going into wood and you need a better grip--these are what to use. these are well-made, excellent steel.

Helped out tremendously on a messed up order! Had a job and the provider of the metal had forgotten our screws and it would have been one to two weeks before they could get us what we needed! These screws were as described and had a larger sealing washer on them. I was replacing old and rusted #12 screws with these #14 and they grabbed into the wood below really good and drawer in the sheet metal roof panels . I am buying more as I go!!

My metal roof had screws that were stripped by the installer or backed out. I needed bigger diameter screws to bit into the remaining wood. I have one complaint, I wish they came in a cupped head design. I didn't give them a 5 star for that, but I can recommend them, and would buy them again.

I removed the old loose nails and screwed these in saving my house roof great rescue screw for old steel roofing that was installed during the time of the lead head nails. eliminated the expense of new sheathing and new steel roof panels

Great quality. Self drill with ease into treated lumber, I had no splitting for a 230 screw pergola roof. Hose tested for leaks, all went well, and we had several rainy days since. Several color options is nice, when relevant.
