I am in near retirement years and serve as our school librarian this year. I noticed that the fourth and fifth grade girls liked this series of books, but I didn’t know why. I found out they were called graphic novels with comic book features. The students really like them, but I won’t purchase any more. Yes, I guess at least they’re reading something, but I’d rather they read better books with better themes. I read one of them for myself, but I wasn’t impressed.

An Easter gift for my 8 year- old grandson. I like the subject matter of the graphic novels. Fast shipping as per usual on Amazon.
