Researched these instant boil machines for a long time before deciding to buy one when it was time to replace the kettle.. This one has really impressed us. It's got a 5 litre tank which is great in a busy household. We work from home most of the week and the ease of popping to get a hot drink now between calls or -jobs is so much easier than having to fill the kettle and wait for it to boil several times a day. I just fill it first thing and switch on and it takes about 20 minutes from cold to boil the first time and then is instant for the rest of the day. I now use it for cooking - filling pans with boiling water and also recently hot water bottles. You can set the highest boil temperature and it stays constantly at that temperature and it has a child safety feature so little hands dont get burnt. Very impressed thumbs up from us - looks quite sexy too !!!

As far as producing hot water goes this is fine. It looks good a just works. When I got it I connect to an energy meter to see what it actually uses so thought I would share my results in case anyone is wonder how much it costs to run. Over the past the 3 weeks my routine has been start with it full of water every morning and turn it on at 7 am. I have it set to 95 and and it runs all day until 10pm. Over the last 3 weeks it has averaged 9kwh per week. 1.2 kwh per day 0.085 kwh per hour Price cap I think at the minute is 34p per kwh so it look like this. 0.029 pence per hour 43.7 pence per day £3.06 pence per week Hope this helps

I’m so glad I bought this is water dispenser, it saves a lot of time from constantly having to boil a kettle. When I come home from an outing I can instantly have a cup of coffee or tea. I would recommend this to anyone considering whether to buy one. It is easy to refill. When you refill it, the water reheats to 100 degrees, then maintains a temperature of 95 degrees.

we happy with the first one but it lasted 18 months. So we decided to have another one in the sale This one has a fault on it. The problem is I would to have it replaced but you will only offer a refund. This means I would have to pay £10 more for the replacement

I've given it four stars because unlike the other one I have bought on a number of occasions this one does not automatically switch the heater on so a timer to switch it off at night and on again in the morning does not give me instant hot water when I get up. The dispensing tube is also not easy to see. The temperature light is very large and clear though as a plus and it looks smart on the counter.

You have to praise the ease of use and design, well made, decent plastics, and easy to clean. Makes whatever size cuppa you want - large - small - or in-between ...Brilliant device.

UPDATE! Unit has completely died and is malfunctioning after about 20 months of use. Love this gadget! I have muscular dystrophy so my hands and arms are weak and I struggle lifting the kettle. This has been life changing and works fantastically, it’s just a gentle press on the dispense button and it fills my cup perfectly with no splatter! 5ltrs is great too because it doesn’t need refilling during the day. My carer fills it in the morning and it’s good to go all day!

Had hot water boilers in the past , but this is the best by far . Holds enough water for the whole day in our family of 3 and we drink a lot of tea .We keep ours at 95° when using it , and find great for tea temperature although you can re boil to 100% if you wish .
