This thing is great. I use it to drum heads on, put racks together, loosen or tighten anything a hand one will, and do it fast. Not for fine tuning but works great!

This is a great, simple tool. Wish I knew it existed earlier. Makes changing a drum head SUPER fast, and if you have a decent power drill you can use it to make all sides of the drum tightened to (roughly) the same tension. Most of all it's quick, and the price is unbeatable. Just perfect, I would have paid 4 times the price in all honesty.

What a time saver this tool is, I have had this for almost 10 years and every time a change skins this tool makes it easy and efficient. It is a must have for all levels. Note: Make sure to thread bolts by hand first, you don't want to strip the threads even if you know how to repair it. Also don't get crazy with an impact, to you all those of you who will zap it down tight. I use this tool to help get the bolts down to a loose snug fit, then start the tune.

Drum keys are good for fine-tuning, but E-drums don't need such delicate attention. The key that came with my Alesis set is a little sloppy, so it often flies off onto the floor during the long task of unscrewing all of the lugs to take the heads off. This can be frustrating. I thought about a speed key or 'winder', but I'll bet it would also pop off like a standard key. That's why I chose this Gibraltar power bit. It's nice to know that the next time I need to replace or re-solder a piezo, I've got the perfect tool. It fits great in my cheap Skil powered screwdriver, and should save a lot of time and frustration. I can also put the bit in a screwdriver handle for the final torquing. Great tool.

Can't believe that I went so long without getting one of these! Now I'm never going back! Got an inexpensive cordless drill to go with it and replacing drum heads is now a breeze!

I bought this as another option to help get heads off and on faster than using a typical drum key. This worked well enough. My one gripe is it doesn't stay in my driver well enough. It would come out and be slightly stuck on the bolts at times which was a minor annoyance.

Great drummers tool for swapping out drum heads. For use with a battery operated drill. Just be careful not to use it all the way. Use a regular tool to tune with.

If you find yourself setting up/taking down or just changing heads on drum sets often, this little guy will make your life much better. If you work at a drum shop buy this right now. For $4 I have saved maybe 8-10 hours of time and countless thousands of hand twists already. And it's hard to imagine this guy breaking... if I don't lose him he'll be with me for many years. Do be careful when using it with an electric drill. It is _easy_ to strip chrome when blasting through head changes if you are not careful. You also do not want to try and tune a drum using a drill. But to take heads off, this guy turns minutes into seconds. For quick tightening and tuning I would recommend this Remo swivel key - www.amazon.com/REMO-Swivel-Handle-Key-Pack/dp/B001B1169G/. The ability to use it vertically makes it awesome for fast manual tightening. Plus the leverage it gives when horizontal makes it perfect for getting memory locks and other hardware screws nice and tight with minimal effort.

Despues de mucho tiempo perdido cambiando parches, al fin una punta de taladro para los drummers! Con ni taladro he cambiado el parche del bombo en 3 minutos.

Cambiar parches es mucho más rápido cuando usas esta herramienta. OJO: no es para afinar, únicamente para aflojar y cambiar parche rápidamente. Recomendado.
