Excellent for understanding the Rosary
Have you ever wanted an easy way to understand the Rosary and the Catholic devotion to saying the daily Rosary? If so, this book is perfect. It is succinct and written by St. Louis de Montfort, who also wrote another beautiful book: True Devotion to Mary. You will find multiple reflections on each mystery that you can use to meditate while you say the Rosary as well.

Faith
I got this book to learn more about the rosary and other related topics. I am clarifying a quote from the book. I was initially concerned about it, but after researching and gaining a better understanding, I felt more at ease. I am referring to the quote, "I am counting the Hail Marys you have said. This is the money with which you can pay your way to heaven." The quote does not imply a literal interpretation of the Catholic tradition or the Hail Mary prayer. Instead, it suggests that reciting Hail Marys or other prayers is a way to gain favor with God and ultimately reach heaven, similar to paying a price. In other words, it emphasizes the belief that devoted prayer to the Lord is essential for our spiritual growth plus salvation. I hope this helps. I enjoyed this book very much; I pray for hope that more of you join the faith<3

Good book to understand worth of Rosary and why we should recite Rosary. Gives spiritual insight. As it was written long back, talks only about three mysteries of the Rosary.

A really good, thought-provoking book. I disagree with a previous reviewer who condemned all changes in the way the rosary is said since the writing of this book. The Catholic Church is constantly open to the Holy Spirit. Changes which enhance worship are the result. Personally I love the Luminous Mysteries. I also love the Fatima Prayer, which is also not part of the original rosary. It was interesting to see that the Salve Regina also did not form part of the rosary at the time of writing. That said, Saint Louis de Montfort is very interesting on the subject of many aspects of the rosay. For example of the Hail Mary. I did not know that the purpose of the first three Hail Marys was to meditate on the Holy Trinity (one Person for each bead). I find the attitude of the collection of indulgences a bit hard to take. The Church has moved away (at least in my experience) from such frantic pursuit of indulgences. I enjoyed the book enough to read it twice immediately. My saying of the rosary has been influenced and is now more prayerful than before.
