Legal Disclaimer outer box slightly damaged Review: Love this phone ! - We ordered the phone in the cream/beige variety (which I would state is more of a light grey/stone colour) and are very pleased with not only how it looks but how it works too. Our retro Geemarc Mayfair phone had pretty much given up on us (a loose connection in the phone meant that you never knew if you were going to cut off the caller at the other end mid-sentence or be able to hear them at all when you picked up the phone to take a call) and we had really wanted to stick with the retro look but, after reading pretty poor reviews on most other `retro' phones, decided to try to go halfway between an up-to-date phone and something a bit more interesting - and this fitted the bill. It has volume settings for the ringer, volume settings for listening to callers and, after leaving it to charge for the recommended 6hrs after purchase, has worked like a dream. The fact that it also comes with a nifty built-in answerphone (which the Geemarc didnt have) is the icing on the cake. Setting up your preferences/inputting telephone numbers, etc., could be a bit fiddly at first but once you get in to the habit of how the phone's menu works it becomes very easy quickly. I would recommend this phone to anyone looking to purchase a `modern' phone that still looks pretty but actually works! Review: smart phone - Old school shape and light. Great to hold and looks the part. Reception is clear and It does not have lots of functions to get muddled up with.

Looks great but quiet
As per other reviews the phone is quiet when ringing which isn't too much of a problem as I have it sitting on my desk but also quiet when listening to calls. Looks fantastic and answer machine etc all work great. Missed calls leave a light flashing which is either handy or annoying depending on you.

Old Style Telephone Re-imagined
It's hard to get excited about a cordless phone these days, because they all look the same, i.e. ugly. Not the Swissvoice Epure: its 'old style-reimagined' design was what caught my eye because it really stands out from all the tombstone-like models available these days. As well as looking great, the Swissvoice Epure is very functional: the handset is very light and the buttons are large enough for people with clumsy fingers like me. The sound quality is brilliant and in terms of programming numbers in, it's very straightforward. I haven't yet had a chance to play around with it much, but it's now plugged in, with my own recorded message and it works perfectly. Yes it's on the pricey side but it looks good!

Definitely Not value for money
This phone was extremely disappointing. Whilst it sits in the cradle, it looks rather nice and stylish. But the attraction ends when one picks up said phone and tries to use it. The first impression is one of cheapness and flimsiness. It doesn't feel robust at all. The keypad feels cheap, and seems to derive from bad cordless phones of about 10 years ago. When trying to set it up, the menus, and how to navigate them, are far from intuitive. And the ringer, when set to high (once you figure out how to navigate to the right menu), cannot be heard from the next room. Swissvoice may be a Swiss company, but this is definitely cheap Chinese tat. I would consider paying maybe a quarter of the list price - no more - for this product. Definitely not value for money.

A bit disappointed...
Delivered promptly. Looks good and is well made, but the key pad is a bit fiddly and the keys were not backlit so not much use in the evening unless room lighting is turned up. Bought it for my bedside table, so obviously no good at night. Sorry to say, I gave it away and bought a backlit replacement....

Nice phone!
Great looking phone, clear clarity, nice ring tones. Small draw back not too loud volume on hearing someone, much to what other people have commented about. Otherwise would highly recommend!
