This belt is 5/8" shorter than the Deere OEM. And it is over 1mm wider than the OEM. The width prevents it from fully seating into the pulley. The Deere tolerance is tight, so the 5/8" shortness prevents it from installing.

Loosedened over time and kept coming off

Works and fits as expected. Make sure you check the size before ordering. JD lawn tractors use different length belts for different models with the same deck sizes.

It's holding up better than the previous belts that I bought through Amazon. I didn't expect that buying a John Deere belt would make any difference, but it is wearing much better the two off brand belts did. Who'd a thought!
