Great product, clear picture when it is in reverse. My only complaint is that the instructions were vague.

I got the backup camera and installed it in my 2011 F150. After getting everything installed...it didn’t work. I emailed the seller and let them know what was going on. We troubleshooted the issue and determined that it was a faulty camera. The seller immediately sent out a replacement camera to me. I got the new camera, installed it and everything worked as it should. I typically don’t leave reviews, but I thought the customer service deserved a shout-out.

if wired direct, needs to add a shut off switch, if you don't drive the vechile everyday, to save your battery.

After I first installed this camera my truck wouldn’t start/ had to do some computer resetting but figured it out; as for the camera itself, it’s not protected so it gets mud etc on the lens easily so I’m wiping it constantly, and in the sunlight the glare makes the picture in the mirror almost invisible. Still, it’s a game changer having a backup camera again. The picture is great normally, with upgraded backup lights it’s awesome. Size of the image is bigger than I expected. Install was easy- I did have to get a replacement because of a broken wire on the original (power and grounds are extremely small and fragile), customer service from Amazon was great-however, I attempted to contact the seller/ manufacturer(?) directly and got nowhere. Instructions were annoying because they not only don’t say a lot(for the inexperienced) but are generic and for the license plate camera not even the tailgate model.Overall I might have picked a different brand for the simple fact other cameras had tons of videos showing the install on you tube, where red wolf had one video that was little to no help. Even though I feel it’s a little overpriced(for the same price you can get quite a bit more on other models)I’m still satisfied with the purchase enough to keep it with no regrets.

So... instructions not great... but there's only one way to connect stuff. And image quality not great - but that's a limitation of camera output from the rear-view mirror. Set aside an afternoon/evening to get this installed - I work slowly, so it took me over 4 hrs. Video output seems larger than the Ford OEM camera I've seen on a friend's 2011 F-150. It's awesome to get a key feature for under $150. My only wish is that it had auto-dimming feature.

Quit working within 2 months, no way to contact anyone for a refund .

Great product! Low profile backup camera integrated into the tailgate handle and backup view in the rearview mirror. Easy install. Best of all, incredible customer service. I was expecting better quality about the image and camera and also the mirror. Like other comments mentioned, the image is hard to see during the day. The oroginal lock from my ford tailgate is a bit loose, had to adjust the camera since it moved during installation. I emailed the seller/amazon to get better instructions cause it’s a bit hard to follow. The mirror kind of have a magnifying effect in it which is a bit annoying to look at for normal use. It does what i wanted which was to be able to back up and see how close i get to a trailer or car behind

Really like the product took under 2h to fully install, the plastic feels cheap to the touch but other then that great product also got to my door in 2 days!
