Superb mini-bit collection for the price
This is a really good collection of the mini-scale hex bits, and the little driver for them is useful for tight spaces. It's also nice that this includes spudgers and other tools one often needs in working on electronics. I also lilke the case. While I have various bit sets taht come in hard cases, for things like an on-the-go toolbag to take to a client's work site, a soft rollup case is much more practical (takes up less toolbag space, and opens up flat. I added a few of my own preferred things to it, and took out a few things I won't be using. Some of the spudgers and other prying tools seem a bit too soft/weak to me. Granted, the purpose of the plastic ones is to avoid damaging screens and finishes, but these seem a hair softer than they should be. Fortunately, it's all stuff that is easy to replace, even in bulk supply, so it really doesn't matter for anyone who's expecting to use such things frequently. And the set comes with quite a number of the ones that look like over-sized guitar picks. They're mean to be disposable. The set does include some metal spudgers, and the wide one I have used many times to "shuck" external drives, to use the enclosed disks as internal disk drives later. While the tool sometimes gets bent up a bit in the process, it's easy enough to bend it back. The small-headed metal prying tool I have not used much yet. The real prize in this is the rather wide selectio n of mini-bits, which are compatible with other mini-bit drivers and sets, so you can have a ratcheting one, and a really skinny manual one, and a right-angle one, and so on, all using the same kinds of bits. This set includes a surprisingly diverse collection of bits, including most "security" bit types. One may think "I'll never need these", and it's true, until you need them and don't have them and then you think "dammit, why didn't I get that set of bits?" Like, only last week I ended up needing one of the triangle-head bits for the first time in my life (to fix a Thomas the Tank Engine motorized toy with a loose wire inside it; the mfr. uses the odd-headed screws to keep kits from messing about with the electrical internals). The only down-side is that these are "consumer grade" bits. I'm not sure there even is a manufacturer of bits in this size that are ultra-hard and impact rated, or anything like taht. Every brand of them I find have about the same quality, and it's not too difficult to destroy a bit (especially a Phillips one) with rough and sloppy use of the sort that tends to strip screw heads and driver tips. So, the Kaisi set is simply "standard" for this sort of thing, not inferior (to anything I've found yet, personally). PS: There are a lot of near-identical kits of this stuff. I picked this one because the price was good and also because the brand was recognizable. While not common in North America, Kaisi products are well-known in Asia. Kaisi seems to specialize in tools for soldering and other electronics work, including precision tool sets for working on cell phones and laptops these days. I already had some of their other stuff on my wishlist on Wish and AliExpress when I ordered this (and am now learning that most of their stuff is on Amazon, too, so I don't have to wait for shipping from China or Hong Kong after all).

It's everything I needed!
I needed this primarily to disassemble and reassemble some pocketknives that were getting sticky and not flicking open as they should. Since then, I have found a few tasks that I could do because I now have the right tools for the job. The kit as it is, is a good size to just keep on my desk and it allows me to tinker with things as needed. My brother "borrowed" my kit to build his computer. he was impressed with the quality, hardly believing the price I paid. Keep in mind, these are in my opinion not the "highest" quality tools BUT they are very well made and the price point makes them an exceptional value. they are *not* soft, disposable, single use, strip and smear, type bits BUT if you torque on them hard enough I can see them being ruined rather quickly. if you need a breaker bar to remove your micro sized fasteners you probably need another tool or try turning it the other direction. If you are easy with the tools, slow steady pressures... they should last for a long while. you can break just about anything if you try. lol the add in pieces feel like the bonus nachos. they are there, but not the reason you buy the kit. those parts are ok I guess. if you need a tiny pry tool or wedge to get in a seam and pry something apart without marring up the plastic they should work just fine. I would have no problems buying this again or recommending it to someone that needs a kit like this. its not a lot of money to lay out and IMO between the repairs that I have done, and the use my brother got from it, I would say that it's paid for its self.

Good option for tech work & home
Kits like this are a dime-a-dozen with a lot of cheap knock-offs. Kasai is a fairly respected brand and this is a decent kit. Being an engineer with >30 years experience, I use this nearly daily for various electronic work in the healthcare medical imaging world. I have little to no need for the suction, which is probably for the better because the minimal testing I've done... it sucks and not in the needed way. Suction and holding is lacking. 3 stars The pry tools could be better but also can't be faulted too much. They are adequate for most of what I need them for. Some may find them cheap feeling or apt for potential breaking. My recommendation is if you need the pry tools for everyday use, seek out a specific quality kit for that need. This kit offers a well balanced option. The attachment tools are well done and have proven to be very sufficient over months of usage. I bought this larger kit for the variety of tips for work and home usage.

Kaisi Electronics Repair Tool Kit - Good Value But 1 Achilles Heel
So this kit has a lot of good things going for it. Kaisi makes some of the best low cost tools out there, and most parts of this set are top notch. However, there is one big caveat that you will want to have in mind. The set comes in a very nice folding pouch. All the bits are slightly magnetic so they hold in the extension arm etc. There is a variety of bits that will fit 99% of all electronics repair situations. There is also a pair of the high quality tweezers, as well as some pry tools. These bits are all designed to kind of go into the primary screwdriver. The actual included driver is somewhat mediocre. It has a tension head, which is common for these kinds of kits, but it does kind of require you to be careful when changing bits etc. And that is the main difference between this and much more expensive kits like the ones from iFixit. CONCLUSION As long as you are good with that kind of driver, this is a no-brainer. Personally I just use all these bits with a different driver and the kit is still convenient to me.

I bought this to complete a few repairs and use that as a chance to finally grab a solid bag of tools. This was exactly what I needed. The toolset was rather complete and everything worked like a charm. That made the repair really easy to complete as the tools were just right for the job. Overall, the build quality of the parts are great and I'd recommend this toolkit to other people looking to get their own tools for repairs.
