Super thankful to have an easy option for simple baby monitor. I don't need a camera on my kid, just want to hear if he's screaming and I'm too far away or have other noise interference. The device alarms if it's out of range or low on battery, so I can be confident in its functionality. I like that it visually shows the audio amplitude even when it's muted, so I can visually monitor my kids winding down without having to hear him constantly. Connectivity is good, works in the range specified. I like that I can use it even outside, easily portable. We've had it for 6 months and no issues. Volume control is good range, plenty loud at the loudest setting and nicely soft at the lowest setting.

This is a very good product. I got it for my baby. My house is soundproof, so I use it on my older children as well when they are napping, as they don't always get out of bed after their nap, and can just lie there quietly for a while wondering why I don't come say hello to them. I have run mine exclusively on battery so far, and it hasn't run out yet. I've only had it a week though, so i'd be horrified if it had. The sound is very clear; I keep ours on the lowest setting, and it's loud enough for me to hear over my cooking noise and fans blowing. It has a few seconds delay built in, so if your child is a noisy sleeper like mine, it doesn't alert you to every grunt and wiggle, but it does come on quickly when they start really crying. I find this very helpful. The product is very very small, so it doesn't get in the way when you carry it around on your belt, which I appreciate. I think the price was fair; I expected a cheap item for the low price, but I'm totally satisfied so far.

With my first monitor the parent unit did not work when battery powered. Worked fine plugged in. So I requested an exchange and received the replacement set 2 days later. Again, exact same problem—— parent unit does not power on when using only batteries (and yes, I repositioned the batteries multiple times, tried 3 sets of brand new name brand batteries). Clearly the defect is in the product itself (the parent unit, not the home unit that stayed in the baby’s room). Requested a refund, mailed the second unit back the same day. Amazon received it 2/6/2020 but still no refund has been issued and now I’m irritated I have to call them over a problem that was in no way my fault. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy this.

The first like 5 days it worked great but the past almost 2 weeks it’s like a game to get it to connect and stay connected. Once baby’s door is closed that’s it. I have to stand outside while it beeps loudly trying to get it to connect. We don’t take it but maybe max 10 feet from the source but even sitting here writing this now it’s beeping at me and I’m just in the next room, 1 wall between us. Range is spotty. When it does work the sound is pretty good! At first this feature freaked me out because I didn’t know it did this, but when the baby isn’t making sound it turns off so there isn’t constant white noise which is nice! Thankfully it’s a temporary situation we need this for but if I needed this long term I’d probably look for something with better range and connect-ability.

We've been using these for about a month now and they have been awesome. The only complaint I have is that there are only three volume selections. Medium seems too low but high is too loud (for me anyway....my husband and other child still continue sleeping even when the baby starts crying). They are very sensitive picking up sounds and I can usually hear every little sound the baby is making.

The monitor has a great range and sound quality. I can take the monitor downstairs and hear the baby perfectly when he makes a peep. The colored lights that associate the intensity of the noise helps me understand if I need to run to attention or if I need to wait it out to see if the baby can self sooth. The value of the monitor is great. I'm not worried about dropping the parent unit as it is durable, and even if it broke, I would not break the bank to replace. I returned a more expensive monitor that cost $160 because I know that I will eventually drop the parent unit. The range and sound quality of this monitor is actually much better than the $160 monitor. Two downsides of this monitor: 1) you have to replace the battery 2) the parent unit doesn't stand on it's own. This means if you you are not seated looking down at the unit you need to pick it up to see the colored lights that are associated with intensity of sound

I purchased this baby monitor after weighing different options for about a week. I wanted to get something that was affordable, but reliable too. My house isn't very big, but I wanted something I could take with me outside and could still hear the baby when I check the mailbox or go in the garage to grab something. In the baby's room, there is a ceiling fan and a white noise machine. In which only picks up slightly on the monitor. There is no static and everything comes through clearly. I went outside with it to test right after getting and it picks up clearly as if I never even walked outside. When I purchased it I thought the monitor was going to be bigger. Both of them fit in the palms of my hand and fits perfectly in small spaces. I've only had these for a short time, however, I wanted to write a review because already I know I made the right decision based on the needs in which I wanted to buy this. I would highly recommend this product for the price and clarity.

This is just what I was looking for: something without all the bells and whistles that would work. This is just an audio monitor that you can plug in or buy batteries to be mobile. It is surprisingly sensative and effective. It even mutes out our sound machine after a few seconds but picks up the baby cries. I also appreciate the visual signal that baby is crying even if the sound is turned down. Totally satisfied with this purchase.
