I live on a short cul-de-sac with many children under ten years who love to play outside and of course in the street. All are mostly watched over by a parent from the neighborhood but when this highly visible and recognized sign is placed in the street about four feet from a curb into the street people either slow down or just drive slow seemingly automatic upon seeing it.

We bought this thing a few months ago when the price was down about $20 from it's normal $53, so just set a price alert and wait it out if you're not in a rush. Anyhow, it arrived just fine and it was very easy to attach the stickers. Right out of the box my 3-year-old named it 'Jaspy' and started dragging it around the house. They are basically the same size and have similar perfectly round heads. He wouldn't let me put Jaspy in the garage and instead insisted that Jaspy stay inside the house. It wasn't until a few days later that I managed to sneak Jaspy into the garage. The first time we used it I set it out in the street and my son yelled that Jaspy was going to get smashed by a car and so he ran out into the street, bear hugged it, and carried it back to the sidewalk. It was just as adorable as it sounds. Long story short, we live in a neighborhood with lots of older residents and due to the pandemic and lack of social interaction my son has a new green plastic best friend and we have a new, silent, plastic second child. Money well spent.

We have a very long driveway, so our delivery drivers often accelerate as if it's a raceway. We also have 3 children who play on and around our driveway, so we needed this sign. It seems to work well; most delivery drivers seem to notice it and take it slow these days. Instead of putting sand or water in the base, we actually tied it to cinder blocks; they were easier and handy, but it ended up working well for us. Would recommend and buy again.

I got these for my grandchildren to play out in the front. They are the best investment for someone with children. They are like putting cones in the road to slow traffic only for the safety of your family. I bought 2 and we block off where the kids play (not a lot of traffic anyways but for safety precautions) and people know before they get too close the kids are outside and they stop. I LOVE THEM!

Product came in a timely manner. The assembly was straight forward, however, since it's an assembly of plastic moldings it needed minor adjustments to get fully assembled. The base of the figure was a little offset at the seams which didn't quite allow the cross-sectional base to snap in easily. A little bit of filing to shave down the high spots and it easily snapped together. Water didn't seem to be a recommended filler for the stability, so I used sand instead and it worked fine.

I initially purchased this item and placed it at a crosswalk just outside my home. For the four days I had it, there seemed to be a reduction of speeding past my house. Apparently, someone else thought it was a great idea as well because it turned up missing on the fifth day. Despite this, I am ordering another one and will be filling it with cement. I have no problem paying again because I want to make sure motorists are watching for both my own and the neighbor's children. While some people will chose to ignore this indicator, at least they are warned if something should happen. It also reminds my kids that they must watch out for traffic before crossing the street or while riding their bikes. It is well worth the purchase.

I just purchased this item to place on the edge of our property on our semi-active street. We live at the entrance to a horseshoe neighborhood and I'm always upset at the neighbors and visitors that fly around the corner heading down the street, especially with children playing obviously in the yards.I would NEVER substitute my parental guidance and attention with a plastic neon sign, however along with bike helmets and knee pads, I feel that this is yet another tool in a parent's safety arsenal. I don't allow my children to play in the street with the neighbor kids, but even sidewalks can be dangerous in the path of a speeding driver who isn't paying attention. I wish I had found this when we first moved in. I hope every neighbor with children will be following suit this summer.

I love this product! It’s very bright and hard to miss. We bought two of them for each side of the road to alert drivers in our neighborhood that my kiddos are outside riding their bikes in that area, or when they’re just playing in the front yard/driveway. I’ve seen drivers slow down and drive extra cautious when they see the warning signs out. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who have children that love to ride their bikes outside or play in their front yards/street.
