Poor metal halide bulb quality
I just returned the second metal halide bulb I received from this supplier. The first, installed by my electrician, didn’t light. He mentioned when he opened the package that the bulb had a strange sediment inside. The second bulb was no better. Upon unpacking, the electrician mentioned that the bulb had a yellow ring inside the glass and asked if it was a second hand bulb. I sent the bulb back and will try and find a different supplier.
