Bought for my Skyreach 4 Mini. Full-time Noctua convert.
I didn't always pay -that- much attention to what fans I used. Most of the time, I'd rescue them out of retired builds and cases, and recycle them into new systems as a sort of "tribute" to the predecessor. When I set out to build my Skyreach PC, which was my console-killer wet dream, I knew each part going in needed to be the best possible in it's class. I initially bought the NH-L9i in Chromax Black and was so impressed by it, I decided to go full Noctua in this system. I replaced the GPU fans (noisy, kinda whiny and frankly too tall to fit) with these fans, and it's been great. I was actually surprised at how well they performed at low-speeds in tasks where noise was a concern. That said, they can get LOUD. ASUS Fan Xpert allows you to crank all connected fans to max speed and this little box becomes a jet engine. Add to that the vortexing issue with this case and things became unbearable. However, flipping the fans worked splendidly (from push to pull) and the avg temp jumped only 5c. With a mild undervolt and some fine-tuning, I had a quiet, high pressure fan that did a decent enough job repelling dust and keeping components cool. In comparison to other fans I have used over the years, I find the pitch and tone of the fan sound to be more pleasant to the ear. You'll find that most fans don't have -that- much different fanning abilities from their immediate competition, but you will HEAR the difference. I do prefer these greatly. The added bonus? No more puke brown, although I do have a slight fondness for that hilariously-outdated color scheme. I imagine the brand recognition factor is also there. And in the RGB era, seeing a brand stand up against competition without the pretty lights to mask any quality defects is refreshing and inspiring. If I had to gripe about one thing it'd be the price. You pay a -little- more than you would from competitors but honestly, you get something truly special with this company. Quality European engineering at it's best. All in all, these are incredibly well-engineered fans with the pedigree to boot. I will be using Noctuas in future situations that require low-noise, high static pressure fans. These are great. And they're kinda blingy, in their own cool way. Definitely a quiet flex.

Best fans you can buy and these are the "budget" version that work amazing.
Bought these for a new server rack and if you're here looking at a Noctua fan then you know what you're doing. They work and I won't buy any other brand for all of my builds for a reason. Different colors is a nice add on for once hah. No more solid brown. Build quality is spot on the normal Noctua brand, so nothing to worry about. They are super quiet and the "bumpers" eliminate any vibration. The cable options that come with it are a nice addition also.

Good Quiet Fan that works on Thermalright CPU cooler
Purchased as a replacement fan for a Thermalright AXP90-X47 low profile CPU cooler. I'm not experienced enough to know whether or not this fan or the cooler are doing a good job. And I don't really use my computer for anything too crazy. But compared to my previous CPU cooler before I upgraded my PC, this is very quiet! The fan works and installs well, and personally I like the all black color vs the orange/burgundy of the Thermalright fan.

Very quiet
Keeps temperatures low while remaining quiet. Great for small form factor pc builds.

Top quality fan!
This little fan is impressive, puts out equal air as most 120mm fan!

High Efficiency and Quiet
Perfect fan swap for Thermalright AXP90-X47 FC. Quiet and efficient, even at high rpms.

Expensive but Silent Fans
Noctua fans are expensive but are very high quality and are low noise if you care about having a silent computer like I do.

Reasonable slim fan, still not whisper quiet when your SFFPC is sitting on your desk
This is a slim (14mm thick) variant of a typical 92mm fan (24mm thick) with a PWN connector for its speed and hence noise to be controlled via the BIOS making it suitable as a CPU fan. It is definitely intended for small form factor PCs. Noctua is known for its low noise profile. It can get loud. And it can operate at 0 rpm which is a neat feature that doesn't happen much in practice with today's hot CPUs. I had to adjust the fan curves in the BIOS to get something I liked. The stock AMD fan had a really annoying noise profile. It's an improvement over AMD's fan. But when compared to Thermaright's slim 92mm fan the differences are less pronounced. Perhaps one sounds better at lower RPMs than the other which sounds better at higher RPMs, but it's kind of hard to describe and probably more subjective. Honestly both are fine, and they seem to cool the CPU at the same temperatures at the same RPMs. My gripe is really with how AMD CPUs really boost their thermals rapidly and that kicks on fans which is quite hard to mitigate with adjusting the fan curves In the BIOS. Unfortunately, the seller isn't inspecting returns and mine was missing four of the black rubber adhesive corners. Otherwise it looked new and was undamaged. This ruins the athletics a bit but I decided to live with it.

I bought this is because Dell computers will not any how accept any fans. The BIOS will give you an error message on boot up. I think all you Dell computer users know what I mean. So at max 2500 rpm, Dell computers are fooled into thinking it's their approved fans. Hope this gives you a thinker and hope for Dell computer users.
