Best Value Clock
I’ve had this clock for a few years and it’s been great, I haven't had to replace the battery yet, keeps perfect time, fits well with my decor, and has never given me any issues. The thermometer is accurate (though a bit hard to read at a glance), and while I don’t track humidity to judge the hygrometer, it’s a nice extra feature to have. Overall, reliable, simple, and stylish.

Really like the clock - not sure it will last
This Hito clock had a rocky start. I added a battery and it kept time for 2 days. Then it was suddenly slow by 40 minutes. I made sure the battery was completely in and I reset the clock. It worked for a few hours. But by that night, it had completely stopped moving. I took the battery out and put it in again. No go. I tested the battery - it registered as new. I tried different batteries just in case. Still, the clock wouldnt go. I even used a magnifying glass just to make sure I had the polarity right. I would have sent it back, but I threw away the packaging after 2 days because it seemed to be working. In desperation I put the original battery back in. Like magic, it started working ! And it has continued to work for months. Go figure. This Hito clock is SILENT. It keeps time (when it actually works). Its easy to read. Its good looking. The hydrometer wavers between 60 and 70 percent - which is not accurate. Don't buy it to read humidity. ****edited Nov 2019 The hygrometer DOES work. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but mine has gone as low as 35 on dry winter days. And I'm still very happy with the clock. Its quiet and it keeps time well.

A great product that has room to grow
I love these! I have several around the house and they are almost perfect. They don't tick, are accurate and go for a long time. A couple of suggestions for future product development: - A version with more modern font for the numbers - A version with luminous hands to see the time in the dark

Junk! Please Read Before you Buy!
This clock is cheaply made. It started to malfunction in 4 weeks. Dead in 6 week with no Amazon support after the return window and no manufacturer support at all. Below is a deeper dive into the details. I contacted Amazon about 4 weeks after receipt because the clock just stopped. With Amazon chat support online I swapped the battery a few times and it started running again. I thought the problem was solved. Then two week later the clock dies again. No battery swap would get in running. (Batteries were good--I checked with my multimeter) I contacted Amazon support again and they said I'm SOL because it was past their return window (even though I first reported the problem earlier). Amazon support referred me to the manufacturer at Hito.co, which is not the correct URL. A Google search did not reveal the manufacturer's website. With nothing to lose I removed the clock mechanism, Three wire metal clips remove the face, two plastic clips remove the mechanism from the frame (pull the hands off gently), and three more plastic clips open up the mechanism. The clock mechanism is manufactured by "Shinfuku" (see pic--I'm not making this up). It it a very simple mechanism with tiny plastic gears. Keep track of where the parts go when disassembling. It appears the problem was the connection from the metal battery holder to the metal frame that holds the oscillating crystal. The are simply pressed into place and makes contact by pinching the metal frame holding the crystal--really low budget and prone to failure. I pinched them a little tighter with pliers and the clock is running again--but who knows how long. This is consistent with getting the clock back running earlier after swapping the batteries in and out. I likely jostled the battery holder enough to re-establish electric connectivity, at least temporarily. This clock does look nice, is quiet and while working keeps good time, but it you look at the internals of clock mechanism it is very cheaply made. It's all bling and unworthy of the $30 I paid and aggravation it's provided. UPDATE: Amazon did refund my purchase after I called them and asked how to make a claim under the "180 Warranty" in the product listing. Thank you Amazon. Also, you can purchase a replacement Shinfuku mechanism on Amazon and other overseas on-line shopping venues. Prices start about $3.50. Make sure you order the correct one.
