This lamp was fun to assemble and is quite attractive when lit. Listen up for some pro tips, y'all. First, the wiring does not have a plug--it is made to wire into a connector box. There's a wood "puck" to suspend it from the ceiling. If you want a lamp you can just plug in and hang from hooks, you can get a hanging lamp socket kit separately and it should fit through the hole formed in the top of the lamp (you can trim the tips if it doesn't). Second, put a towel down on the table so you can move the lamp around without chipping the edges/tips. Third, before you begin assembly, trace around each piece on a sheet of paper so you have a template to re-create damaged pieces, or, create your own lamp from other materials (super fun project). Fourth, for the first two rows, don't tighten the screws down too tightly until the rows are gently connected into a circle -- give them a little wiggle room. Fifth, for the last rows, it helps to lay the "tube" sideways on the towel while one hand is inside and one outside the lamp. And finally, be gentle with the lamp while bending the pieces. It will all come together, but avoid sudden, forceful moves which may startle or frighten the lamp into cracking. Enjoy!

These were really fun to put together. They are big, beautiful, and I love them. Full disclosure, I did use lamp ballasts I already had with mine so I could plug them in.

Absolute waste of time and money. Spent 3 hours trying to assemble this and finally gave up after the flimsy wood kept breaking repeatedly. I was really excited about how this was going to look in my baby’s nursery, but I really regret buying it now.

It takes some work to put this together I had to go at it more then once. It took me long time because I stained all my pieces. I did swap out the hard wire for a plug in wire. Have some time to do this one and don’t rush it. These pieces can break easily. Also make sure you have all your pieces before you start putting it together I was missing pieces half way threw the build. Other then that came out great and I like it.

Unique and cool light. Used it with a pendant light extension cord instead of hard wiring. They make a big and a small version. It comes in single panels with plastic screws and clips so definitely takes some assembly time. Shipping was very slow but arrived. Very affordable.

Definitely take your time, leave the nuts loose, what I did was screw them on just to where the bolt is flush with the bottom of the nut. When doing the connecting of the firsr layer, that's wuere breakage can happen, start from the center and bend each side inward moving out until you complete the circle, I used mine for table lamps, couldn't be happier.

Shipping was quick, had extra screws. I stained mine because I wanted it to look like a pinecone and it turned out perfect! Very pleased. CB
