A little small, but that’s my fault, I didn’t see the size. Otherwise great coins, give a nice clink in the pouch. It’s also pleasantly heavy, giving it an authentic feel. Highly recommend, but again pay attention to size.

These coins are great. High quality for a good price and fun to use for games. They have a good weight to them.

Very nice items, I just need to be more careful reading the sizes of the item before I purchase, but that was my fault. Great item, I would recommend, but be sure and look at the item size tone absolutely sure you are ordering the size you want. The description states "Large" yet the picture shows "M" for medium and the size is definitely NOT large!! (Pictured is what I got, a "Large"/actually a medium, beside an actual Large silver that I also purchased and thought would be the same, but I should have read the full description and the stated actual size; plus the pic in the add did show "M" so that's on me for overlooking those details) The adds should be revised to state the actual size "S", "M", "L", or "XL" in the beginning of the description with the actual measurements at the end like they already have; Great product though!!

I did read the size and look at the details, but even doing so, they look much smaller in person. Not only that, but when they arrived they were all loose in the package and going all over. But overall, they do look like pirate doubloons and are really cool play coins. They're really light bright gold, so they look like new treasure if that's the look you're going for. They are very light but do have the satisfying 'clink' of being metal, which is nice.

I bought two sets of these to complete a gift idea I had for my nephews. Got them kids metal detectors, small wooden pirate treasure chests that came with little leather treasure maps, and buried about a dozen of these around the yard. I bought some cheaper plastic treasure/gems, and would dig a little hole to put those in and put one of these metal pirate coins on top, so that the detector would pick it up, and there would be more treasure found. I made up a story about how a long time ago Pirate's hid Treasures in this area, and that I found the treasure boxes empty. Showed them one of the gold coins with dirt on it and said the treasure must have gotten knocked over and spread out around the area. They were so excited and had a blast as they searched the backyard with their detectors, finding treasure and freaking out LOL. Every time they are coming over I will hide a few coins out there, it's the first thing they want to do when they get here is check for more. The gift that keeps on giving.

Amazing quality! I honestly did NOT expect them to be this nice. They are hard metal (tested their strength with the old bite and chew method) and they didn't bend or chip. They have weight which give them that authenticity but they are a bit smaller than the photos and TBH, that is perfectly fine. I actually prefer the smaller size because anything bigger and they'd be too heavy to carry (adding them to my pirate costume for my ren-fair) and I love the sound they make in the pouch which is also great quality for what it is. They have a great shine and look freshly forged. The funny thing though: I ordered the 35 count and wound up with the 100 which worked better for me, I prefer the 100 count anyway considering their size.

Planned a treasure hunt for my nephew's 6th birthday party and I used a treasure chest I bought here on Amazon to hold these fake gold plated zinc coins, as well as some National Geographic real fossils, gemstones, geodes, quartz crystals, among other interesting natural items that I thought he'd be interested in. He's big into dinosaurs, fossils, discovery, exploration, and digging things up! I bought these coins because they are real metal, they make that klink sound when you handle them and they set off a metal detector. They come in a felt bag that fits in the palm of your hand. As the product name says, there's only 35 coins in the bag, these are true to size so they are about the size of nickels, you're gonna wanna buy several bags if you want a lot of them to fill up a chest or similar box. I hid the treasure chest and created a treasure map using clipart images that looked like real landmarks around his house that I knew he'd be able to identify, I put it all together with PowerPoint, and printed it on brown card stationary to give it that aged look. I placed the treasure chest keys, map, and one gold coin inside a small puzzle box that I also bought here on Amazon, and gave it to him wrapped up as a present, just to boost the excitement and wonder. I didn't want to get too carried away with hiding the chest because it was 90-something degrees and humid the day of his birthday party, so I left it above ground, behind a tree. He was very excited to go on an adventure to find treasure! I secretly wish we had these real metal coins when I was a kid, we had the crappy plastic ones where the paint would wear off with use. These look real, feel real, especially to a kid. If you have kids with interests similar my nephew's, I highly recommend these coins for imaginative play. Maybe even use them as a way to learn about spending and saving money, instead of the risk of using (and losing) the real thing. Pay them for chores, or reward them for good behavior, have them pay you for perks or treats when they want something. If they loose these fake coins, oh well, they're worth less than the real thing.

These were a great accessory for a pirate costume. They have a great weight to them and clink around in the bag.

Quand on la remplit et qu'on la soupèse ça fait son effet :) Achat pour un cadeau pour simuler des pièces de trésor gagnées après une activité Fort-Boyard, je trouve que ça rend très bien!

Für mich als leidenschaftlichen Pen&Paper-Rollenspieler und Brettspielenthusiasten ist es eine meiner Leidenschaften, meine Spielematerialien "aufzuwerten", indem ich beispielsweise Pappmarker für Spielgeld durch realer wirkende Elemente ersetze. Mit dem Hintergedanken, dies bei der Neuauflage von "Talisman" zu tun (in der 30 "Goldstücke" aus Plastik enthalten sind) habe ich die hier angebotenen Metallmünzen bestellt und bin sehr zufrieden; Mit etwa 2,2 cm sind die in diesem Set enthaltenen 36 Münzen etwas größer als die im Spiel inkludierten Marker. Sie sind schön anzuschauen, fühlen sich angemessen schwer an und erzeugen beim Wurf auf den Tisch natürlich auch das entsprechende Geräusch. Außerdem ist ein kleines Stoffsäckchen im Lieferumfang enthalten, wodurch die Münzen stilvoll aufbewahrt werden können. Insgesamt finde ich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei diesem Produkt äußerst akzeptabel und werde höchstwahrscheinlich weitere Münzsets dieses Anbieters auch für einige andere Spiele meiner Sammlung bestellen.
