I was super skeptical when I ordered this, especially because you get all sorts of duvets under the pretence of ‘cotton’. This is an authentic, beautiful, soft, cotton “Jaipuri razai” which is exactly what I wanted. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a Jaipuri razai of good quality at a great price.

Good quality, comfortable

Excellent quality. The stitching, design pattern and thickness - all are appropriate. Useful for mild winters, low temperature AC setting as well. The warmth is good enough without any unpleasant smell.

So I'll start with the good aspects first. The quality is beautiful. It's well stitched. The cotton inside is evenly distributed. The print is gorgeous. And the outer material used is a good quality cotton fabric, which is important for me as I have sensitive skin and it reacts to any presence of synthetic mix in fabrics. The aspect I'm disappointed with is size. Now, at the outset, I'll admit some of it is my mistake. I woke up one cold morning and impulsively decided to buy a jaipuri razai while still in bed. My general sense of numbers is bad, and I made the mistake of not reading the description properly, which says it's a single bed size. I just went by the images posted in the listing and imagined that this would be a double bed size, since ALL the images show double bed size. Besides, even the actual size is NOT what is stated in the details. Mine measures at 57 inches by 85 inches. So. Just for the deceptive images used in the listing here, and lack of precise size as mentioned, I'm giving it a three star. Amazon needs to make more of an effort toward quality control, to avoid cumulative customer dissatisfaction. As these kinds of mismatch between details stated in the listings and the actual products has been increasingly re-occurring in the past few years.

Don't buy from Amazon. Price is too high for every product and oreover if u receive old product then this people will not help either.

So the pros: Absolutely BEAUTIFUL quilt! The colors and patterns just flow together and are very soothing. The inside is full of real cotton- you can see it and its little stems when the blanket is wet during washing. The colors do not fade or run during when washed. Will keep you warm at night! Cons: Not very soft. It’s not malmal or a 300 thread count. Not even close. It measures quite a bit smaller than the 60x90”, but actually after washing it’s 53x84” and started off about 55x86” before washing. Overall… it’s still lovely and does the job, but the description of size and softness is very misleading, hence the missing star.
