My canaries love these seeds!
My canaries love to eat these seeds, they are preferred over all others including other canary seed brands. I appreciate that we have not had any moths! We have used this seed for years without fail. About 50% of their diet is from seed. I also supplement with fresh organic baby green mix lettuces (they do not like spinach, LOL). I also try to give them a fruit daily like a cut open orange slice, cut open blueberries or something similar. They live in a good size cage, about 30" x 24" which they seems to enjoy. I was told if I spoil them they won't sing but this simply is not true! They sing quite a bit, even into old age and in fact they have each won many ribbons. My last canary died at 17 years of age so it must be working! They never have health issues either. For this reason I believe the seed to be high quality and an important part of their diet.
