Adding the EyeLine Golf Putting Mirror to my practice routine has made one of the biggest differences. I bought it a few weeks ago and it has quickly become one of the most valuable pieces of training equipment I own. What stands out the most is how much feedback you get from something so simple. For the longest time, I have had an issue cutting across the ball while putting. This created spin and all sorts of alignment issues, so much so that I couldn’t really feel what taking the putter straight back felt like. After a few minutes with this on the putting green, I felt so much more confident! It’s exceptionally easy to use, all you need to do is ensure your eyes are over the midline and you are taking the putter back on the straight line. of course, make sure you have it lined up correctly. Before my most recent round, I spent 15 minutes with this on the putting green. During my round, my putting was markedly improved! I felt much more confident over the ball and made more putts on the day. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to improve their game and save some strokes while on the green.

It’s a helpful training aid but a little overpriced

This is one golf training aide that really works. The mirror is extremely intuitive. I discovered the first time I used the mirror that my shoulders were open and my putter alignment was off. Now I use this 2-3 times a week and just check my alignment and just practice 3 foot putts and 4 foot putts. This Alignment Mirror has made a huge impact on my consistency and thus improved my confidence. I have recommended this mirror to all my golfing buddies.

Very helpful for your eyeline and squaring up the putter face. Simple but highly effective.

I bought this to compliment my putting training during my time off due to covid. I set it up at 6’ 6” from the hole. PGA pros average 70% from 6 feet. I set up the eyeline and focused on setting up correctly, I drained the next 12 putts and made 14/15. Over the next 4 days I’ve rolled about 100 putts to all the other holes from different positions. If I miss a putt I focus on my set up, and I can quickly diagnose why I missed it. The three biggest things for me: eyeline setup, set my wrists forward so the heel picks up on the putter, and I focus on tempo. I’m looking forward to getting back out and putting. I’m currently averaging 30-31 putts a round. If I’m putting good I’m 27-29, if I’m off 32-34. I bought this to get me at 28-30 average and keep me there.

I would recommend getting a chalk line with this so you can guarantee you have the mirror dead on your start line (they're only like $9). With that said though, the mirror itself can get the job done on its own just fine--you just need to take more care lining it up. The mirror surface itself is quite clear and provides immediate feedback: You either look down after addressing the ball and see you're lined up correctly and your putter face is square, or you look down and see your alignment needs work. That's exactly what I got it for, and just 5 mins with this before my round gave me some extra confidence on the greens. Looking forward to grinding it out over longer practice sessions. I also like that it comes with a protective case, but one thing that concerns me is how long the mirror finish is going to hold up during use. Especially on damp mornings when sand on the greens will stick to the bottom of your putter, I fear that over time scratches from that will render the mirror useless. I keep a small towel in my back pocket to wipe my putter off between putts to avoid this, but that's more-tedious work than I thought I'd need to do before I made my purchase. Update: After using this several times now, something I’ve come to dislike about it is how slick it is. I like to set my putter down behind the ball while I get my feet set, and when I do this on the green itself the friction from the grass keeps my putter from sliding around. Not so on the mirror. That’s not only distracting, it’s annoying to because I try to go through my pre-putt routine each time I make a putt with the mirror. That my putter slides around on it gets me out of routine.

In short this is a great product. It does what it says and my putting has become more confident already. Biggest thing for me was my eyes were way over the middle line. Brought them back a bit and had to lift the hands slightly and straight away the stance felt better. However, I’d have to say it’s not worth this amount. As a putting mirror it’s great but you can find others MUCH cheaper. It has holes for creating a gate but that’s not worth the extra£15/20 and like all other mirrors the putter scraping across it regularly is starting to result in some scratches, which is inevitable but easier to bear if you’ve only paid a tenner for it. Definitely a good aid though.
