I’m going to seem like such a dork with this review but maybe it will help someone. For some reason, after passing my mid-fifties, mosquitos are attracted to me. I used to be the person who chuckled at people swatting at the skeeters. Welp. Karma got me. I’m a mosquito Luby’s now. I’m also a hard core gardener- outdoors for 5-10 hours/day during prime mosquito season. Last year it took most of winter for my legs to return to normal after the gazzilion bites I sustained during summer. Arg. It drove me nuts. This year, instead of applying gobs or repellents that didn’t seem to work, I purchased this netting.If you’ve ever purchased garments made of netting to repel biting insects, you may have experienced what I did- every piece was constructed from a rough, stiff, uncomfortable mesh fabric with zero give. When you move, it scratches against your skin because it doesn’t move with you or allow you to stretch it in different directions while walking or reaching.This mesh is completely different and so much better than I expected!As soon as I opened the package, I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. I cut a length that wrapped around my waist about a time and a half, hand stitched a primitive casing and installed a stretchy piece of elastic. I didn’t see the sides, instead I just just some narrow fringes, and tied one side to the other. (I discovered while sewing the casing for the elastic that sewing netting isn’t fun…)BOOM! I had a floor length “mosquito tent” around my legs! It’s not a tripping hazard because the fabric is so stretchy! I can take full length strides without straining the fabric, and it can still be the correct length. If I tried doing that with normal mosquito netting used for clothes, I’d wipe out.I don’t go out to my garden without my net tent and guess what? Not a single mosquito bite on my legs while wearing it! Not ONE!I’m sure there are a million other uses for this stuff, but I found the best one for me!

Very good product! We used it as a landscape covering over our mulch to catch all the Spring maple tree helicopter seeds. Worked great. Thin but strong enough to do the job!

The media could not be loaded. This was huge and as described, keeps the pests out so you are able to enjoy the outdoors. Because of the size, this net to longer than expected to figure out how to attach and cover my patio. Once I figured that out, the rest was esay and the net is durable.

We couldn't enjoy our back patio anymore because of mosquitos, we've tried fogging, body spray, citronella candles and incense, I'm sure they helped but there was still enough to keep us from going out..I purchase this net and installed it around the patio cover using magnets to hold it against the metal roof trim. It's big and very light weight.I got the black one and was surprised how invisible it was, I really thought one side fell down as I was installing the other side because I couldn't see it. When I went to check, there wasn't a net on the ground as I expected, I was within a couple of feet from it and couldn't see it.Being light weight, it's not durable, on the first day of use my dog ripped a big hole by getting tangled in it. That's not the fault of the material though.Bottom line, last night and this morning we enjoyed our back patio without a single mosquito bite.

Hung on back porch and have had zero mosquito bites! Sheer enough to not obscure vision.

Was not what I was looking for

This is my 2nd time buying this net because it worked so great the first time. I use it to line the patio of my apartment. My son absolutely hates bugs and in the summer time I added soft play squares to the cement floor and add the net to block off the patio to keep the bugs out and they have their own protected play area. It works great! I can actually leave my sliding door open and not worry about anything getting in. The price is great for the amount of net I received. I have enough to take down and redo a couple times. No one can see if unless they get close enough so it's not an eyesore.

I got the black netting and it's almost invisible, go with black not the white for see through. It's a fine mesh small enough to keep mosquitoes out, I'm a magnet for those blood suckers and as i was putting it up i saw multiple trying to get to my hand but the net blocked them from getting to me!I used (dollar store) thumb tacks to hold it up and that worked suuuper well, i used some small nails but I struggled and the pins were way easier and really held the netting flush again the edges to prevent any unwanted from creeping under it.I didn't have any issues with it snagging or tearing while putting it up, it held well even when I struggled with the nails to get it in place, no tears around the pins even as i pulled it tight!Do measure the area you need, I didn't lol so ordering more but well worth it for my roommate and i to actually be able to use our patio that overlooks the woods with all kinds of creepy crawlies
