We love it!
4/11/25 How ironic - only days after buying these, it was announced that the Prez is eliminating the restrictions the obama administration placed on how much water can flow. BUT, even had I known that while I was trying to replace the old Delta, I think I would still have bought the Aqua Elegante. Much less expensive AND equally as beautiful. This is the back story: My pretty old, but still functioning Delta showerhead literally came unfixably apart a week ago when I was adjusting a setting. We loved it so much and it matched all our other bathroom fixtures, so we wanted it again. Three problems - 1) the style has been discontinued 2) My color, polished brass, despite being a beautiful finish, doesn't seem to be a popular choice anymore and if you can find one that you might like, it probably doesn't have the settings you want or it's huge and would be completely out of place in a small bathroom with a small tub and 3) the biggie - because I live in a state where the gubment decided water flow couldn't be more than 1.8gpm for showerheads and mine is 2.5gpm. Delta, Amazon and many others WILL NOT SHIP IT TO ME for that reason. No getting around it. I'm not going to ask an out of town friend to get it for me and send it to me. That’s just not my style. The upshot: I was rather upset but then, after a lot of researching, I saw Aqua Elegante and went bonkers. Why? Because I was so happy to find reasonably sized, well priced, nearly perfect colors with nice settings AND the 2.5gpm flow AND there didn’t seem to be a problem with shipping to my state. So, I bought 2 different ones with the expectation that one or the other would suffice. Well, THEY BOTH SUFFICE – MORE THAN SUFFICE – they’re both gorgeous and they both work well. I installed one and then the other to see how each works, and I’m pleased to report that there was no leaking in either so far and both have easily movable settings. Both seem nice and solid without being heavy. I’m keeping both. And given the fact that 2.5gpm is becoming the exception and may be “outlawed” countrywide at some point, I want to have a backup. In the event that one conks out, I won’t have to go searching for anything else because I’ll have a beautiful alternative. This one is waiting in the wings. The one I have installed now is the Massage Shower Head With Mist - High Pressure Boosting, Multi-Function which looks very much like my old Delta (I think I actually like this one even more) I've only had them a few days, so I can't really speak to longevity. I'm hoping that they'll be as sturdy and reliable as they are beautiful. In the meantime, I'm pretty happy.

Awesome price, even more awesome shower head!
For decades, I have insisted on having the Speakman Anystream shower head in every shower of every house I've owned. I just love the quality, adjustability, and sheer water pressure of the Speakman. Living here in AZ, we have extremely hard water which leaves mineral deposits on the plumbing fixtures. Our Speakman recently needed replacing because nothing removes these deposits, and it looked awful (see photo). To be fair, the Speakman still worked flawlessly. BUT when I searched it to find another, I saw that the price has risen to over $100! We have 4 shower heads, all of which will need occasional replacement, and that price seemed excessive. Instead I searched for low cost alternatives, and found this Aqua Elegante. A 66% discount and excellent reviews? Yes please! My finger flew to the Buy Now button. Two days later, (Thanks, Prime!) I received a beautifully packaged, great looking shower head. Installation was simple- two minutes max, most of which involved removing the Speakman. I used the included plumbers tape, tightened the Aqua Elegante by hand, leaving the flow restrictor in place. I love a high pressure shower, but water is expensive in the desert, so I thought I'd see… WOW. A glorious, strong stream shot out WITH THE RESTRICTOR IN. I clicked through the various settings, noting that the settings have positive, high quality stops. Several showers later, I can say for certain that I will never go back to my once beloved Speakman. The Aqua Elegante provides a superior experience at an amazing price. As for the company's claim that minerals won't build up on the silicone nozzles, I remain a bit skeptical. They build up on everything here! At the very least, I won't be dealing with $100 plus replacement costs. One final note- I paid full price for this item (no discount for this review) and don't regret a single penny spent.

Works wonderfully, High Pressure as described!
This shower head is fantastic! I've needed a new one to get better pressure in our shower and this did the trick! Fantastic!

Good, but not GREAT.
This review is for the Brushed Nickel version, but they are functionally the same. This shower head was to replace a Kohler shower head that delivered rather weak, almost rain-head-like stream pressure. I hate rain shower heads. If you like that weak-arse barely dripping spittle of a shower, this shower head isn't for you. Just move on, and find another one. Go ahead, move along! Still reading? Then you must want a strong, invigorating shower. This'll do'er. Couple of drawbacks to consider: The Kohler offered a "wider coverage" than this Aqua Elegante; the Aqua shower head has a rather concentrated stream, so expect to "move around" a lot to rinse your whole body. What I mean by concentrated: The head itself seems to be about 6 inches in diameter; the stream of water a few feet from the shower head (at body height) is MAYBE about 8 inches wide, if I count the inevitable "stray beam" - it retains almost the same "spread" from start to finish, with rather little dispersion of water to give you full coverage. Even the skinniest little youngster will need to shake-rattle-and-roll to get full body coverage. If you have a "full size figure" you can expect to shed a few pounds trying to contort around the shower attempting to get the seemingly pencil-thin laser-beam of a shower stream to rinse you off. The Kohler "spread" much much more: it started at 8 inches at the head, but it was at least 18 inches wide (more than double the width) at body height, and covered a "nominal" full body width. The Aqua would be a better shower head if the water spread to a wider degree and provided more coverage. The pressure of the Aqua was incredible (I only tried it with the pressure reducer REMOVED; not sure how different it might be without removing the little plastic reducer). No contest - hands down, the Aqua shower head delivers an amazing volume of water at a decent pressure to rinse you quick - no waiting forever to get that one "determined stray hair" to rinse off your shoulder! Removal of the pressure reducer was a piece of cake, don't sweat it. Of course, I haven't gotten the first water bill yet with this new shower head,,,,ugh. I'll agree with another reviewer regarding the "SIX POSITION" head: It isn't. There are FOUR discernible, distinct "modes": A "high pressure stinging stream" (I think I can pressure wash my deck on this setting, or remove paint from a car); a "normal high volume shower stream" (keep it here, don't mess with a good thing!); a mix that includes each of these two, sorta like if you can't decide between chocolate and vanilla ice cream, get the swirl; and "off" (which EVERY shower head has - when you turn the water off - that's a cheap "setting"!). I'm not sure where the Aqua Elegante people think they have a "six" position shower head - that was rather disappointing. BUT...maybe the actual positions are more discernible if the pressure reducer was installed, so...oh well, I'm good with the one setting. And, of course, I also like the "off" setting. That's a good one when you're done. So, it's good, but not "great" - but definitely a keeper.

Very nice and no flaws to speak of
** UPDATE** Ours is now over two years old and working perfectly. Every now and then a couple of the little jets go crooked, but you can just tweak the little rubber nipple back straight and there you go. We installed ours a few days after Christmas and it's been a very nice change from the old standard shower head. I'll answer the most important questions of mine first in case others wonder the same things: How does it work with low water pressure? We have lousy water pressure these days, probably due to all the new high density housing. We removed the flow restrictor and couldn't be happier with the pressure through the head. All settings have plenty of water. How do the various settings feel? There are several different settings, from fine jets to heavy drops. Even on the finest spray it avoids that horrible stinging feeling you get from a lot of water conserving heads. Each setting is also different enough to have a specific feel. Just like all of those I've tried over the years, my favorite setting is a mix of find spray around the outside with the heavy massage flow in the middle. Since that's the only setting I use regularly, I can't really say how nice it is to, say, stand under the massage setting for 10 minutes if that's your thing. It was extremely easy to remove the flow restrictor (instructions are included and believe me, they are quick and easy) and install the head, and a roll of good sealant tape is included. No tools required! It looks good, too. The head swivels but feels tight, like it will last and not start drooping. Only time will tell. The chrome finish is a dead ringer for real metal and looks classy. The seller Aqua Elegante is excellent, by the way, with a nice personal touch.

High pressure, low price.
Like other customers I have always bought Speakman Anystream but they have become so expensive. Decided to try this shower head and I was very pleasantly surprised. It has a lot of power and I am very happy with it. It have many different settings that all have great pressure. Very easy to put on. Came with easy instructions and tape. Highly recommend! You do not need to look any further.
