ASICS Men's Aggressor Wrestling Shoe

Really great wrestling shoes! My son loves them, and he loves how the toes grip the mat so he can push off better. They are still in great shape after an entire season. The colors match his school colors, and look very bright and sharp out on the mat. Very happy with this shoe, and would buy it again.

The Aggressor shoe was even better than expected! My son has loved the traction that he can get on the mat with the rubber sole that wraps up on the sides. Also love the color combo, hard to find! Fit is great and very comfortable. His favorite shoes yet, now my younger son wants the same;)

Now that the price has dropped on these, they are WELL worth the money. The fit is ultra comfortable, but they run a bit larger than I expected. All of my other wrestling shoes have been 11 or 11-1/2, and fit like a glove. I ordered these in a size 11, and they aren't as tight as my other shoes. The material is also great, it gives you a sturdy feel, but is relatively flexible. The traction is superb, however not as good as I expected. Still just as good or better traction than any other shoe I've owned. I am considering buying another pair of these in another color, because I like this model so much.

Terrific wrestling shoes. My son used them for 2 seasons and they still look new. He tells me they are very comfortable, flexible and have great grip on the mat.

Great pair of shoes! Very comfortable and feels extremely light. The colors match up with my school too! The bottom grips the mat extremely well. The only issue I had with this shoe was the side grip. Since my ankles aren't super flexible I sprawl with my feet to the side so sometimes the grip would stop me from getting a good sprawl but it's not a something that makes me lose matches.

I bought these because the last pair of Asics wrestling shoes I bought for martial arts training fit pretty well and gave good support. I found upon trying the shoes on that they felt quite narrow. I wore them for about an hour inside the house, to see if they would conform to my feet, but they continued to be uncomfortable. I have somewhat wide, flat feet, so maybe that was the issue, but like I said the last pair of Asics wrestling shoes fit fine. The last just seemed narrower on this pair, despite being "D" and the appropriate size for my feet. When I tried to return the shoes to Foot Locker, I received an email that stated that the shoes were not in sellable condition (like I said I wore them for about an hour INSIDE MY HOUSE), and that I would not be able to return items to Foot Locker on future purchases. I found this a bit unprofessional and inappropriate, and if the shoes were damaged in transit, I should not be responsible for that. In any case, that's some seller feedback for you there, too.

I bought the shoes for my son and he absolutely loves them. best West Wing Shoes he's owned so far! Well built, light, fit great. If that's not a good enough endorsement, we recently attended the clinic where Olympic gold medalist Kenny Monday was 1 of the instructors. Guess what he was wearing. same shoe, same color. I consider this a great purchase.

I bought two pairs of these, one for my younger brother and one pair for myself. Both of these shoes arrived with immediately noticeable flaws. My brother got the red blue and white pair which, like my pair arrived with what seems like dried up glue in the grip where the sole and the lip meet. It looks as if these were loose or coming apart and were glued back together with some crazy glue. They did not do a very good job with this as there is glue residue coming out of the corners of the seams. My younger brothers pair also came apart after 1st use; the stitching that is directly on top of the toe area is coming apart at the seam with no explanation. I have a feeling that this company is purchasing defective shoes and refurbishing them to sell as new. It is a great coincidence that I ordered two pairs (size 11 and size 13) and they both have defective qualities. I wish I could give at least 2 stars because the shoes look and feel good on the mat, except that I (like most people) do no appreciate buying a brand new item just to find that it isn't quality or new at all.
