HEAD Leather Racquetball Glove - Renegade Extra Grip Breathable Mesh Glove - Large, Left Hand

Excellent Comfort and Grip -
This is the first time using this Head glove. I've been using the Python supertack for the last year or so and I found these to be comparable but a few bucks cheaper.I've played to far two times with this glove and I really liked it. Very comfortable and excellent grip against the raquet. Will be updating review after a couple of months or when it finally rips.I play racquetball three times a week at a semi competitive level. Recommended purchase.3.5 month update. The glove has not ripped from anywhere. it is holding up pretty nicely and I expect I can squeeze at least a couple of more months of life before I have to replace it. I am wearing a cotton inner glove to keep excess moisture (sweat) away from the glove, which is also helping a lot.Funny, right after writing the update, on my very next match; the glove finally ripped from the inner part of the wrist. I tis still useful, but eventually it will grow bigger and become unusable. Still, not a bad price for 4 months of use 3 times a week.

The glove fits well
I really like how this gove fits. It seems really well made. The leather is good quality. It seems to be thick enough that it won't wear out quickly like many other gloves that I have bought over the years. It seems like different brands try to make the leather ultra thin. The glove tends to either wear out in the palm or it splits along the seam. There isn't enough leather to hold it together. However, because the leather is thicker, it is also a little hotter to wear than some of the ultra thin gloves. But, not so hot as to ruin my game.

I purchased this glove in a size large for my husband based on previous reviews that it runs "a little"small - recommend orderin
Gave one star because was required in order to submit a review. I say don't buy. The fit is totally off. I purchased this glove in a size large for my husband based on previous reviews that it runs "a little"small - recommend ordering one size up. Well, he is not a big man and has average sized hands. Well, he couldn't even get the glove on his hand! I tried it on my own hand (which is 1/2 the size of his) and it fit, but it didn't even fit me right... two of the fingers were a good 1/2 to 3/4 inch too long and the other three fingers of the glove fit perfectly. Returned.

Great for tennis, too!
Got tired of three tennis singles matches a week eating up my hand. So I bought this racquetball glove as an alternative to trying to tape up my hands every time.Versus taping of my hands? This glove is absolutely a winner. Don’t have issues with tape slipping after sweating, I’m able to prevent callouses on my palm, and the grip absolutely meets my needs—the Az summer is challenging with the heat and slight humidity during summer storm season making my hand sweat and causing slippage. As for the performance of this glove: Grip ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Comfort ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Washability ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Suppleness of leather even after washing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The only issue I ran into with the durability is that when it is wet, and you tug on the glove to pull it tight, the leather is thin and will rip at the seams. At least at the bottom of the palm. All that means is that you just have to be gentle with it while it is just out of the wash. Don’t put it in the dryer, just remove it from the washer, slip it on your hand and stretch it out before setting it out to dry, but don’t tug hard. I suspect this is only an issue right out of the wash, I have not run into this issue with it ripping even though it’s gotten a little wet with my sweat while playing.

UPDATED: Falling apart after just 4 months!
UPDATED: After only 4 months of use (about 3-4 days a week for a couple of hours each) the glove is falling apart. Stitching is coming undone in several places - looks like it will fall into pieces if I keep using it. Even the HEAD logo mark is wearing off. Questioning whether it is a real HEAD brand product or a cheap fake.Too late to return now.Comfortable and looks durable, however fingers of the glove prevent me from using Haptic Touch on my Apple Watch. Can’t turn on or off my workout.

Great Pickleball glove
Great pickleball glove that improves the grip on my racket immensely. Living in Florida causes the racket to get slipperyon warm days and this solves the problem.

good (was $cheap) glove. But wears out after about 10 sessions or hard sweaty work out
When I first bought these, they were close to $6 (or less). Now they are $11. For $6, awesome. For $11, there are better choices as I am finding out! These gloves are good for pickleball (no need for raquetball over side fingers). But after about 6 wears, the tackiness is way less. After 10 wears, they start tearing everywhere - especially through the leather. I have used 4 of these over past year but now that price$ is higher, I am transitioning to better gloves.

5 star until it ripped!
I would have written a rave review on this glove because it took me so long to find one that fit right and seemed durable. Then mine ripped. Dang. As in developed a hole on the palm so didn't even rip at a seam. I'm so disappointed. I'd say it was worn no more than ten times. How do I return or exchange this product??? I sincerely thought the seller would see this review and respond with a refund or a new glove. I guess I live in a dream world where people respond to a defective product. I'd have given them a 5 star review if they had just made it right

Short lived
Fitted OK, adjustable strap. Nice fabric, feel only lasted 3 weeks before finger split

Extra Precautions
Got this glove, both right and left hand, to provide extra precautions during Covid crisis while playing tennis...playing doubles, we all wear gloves to ensure we don’t handle the tennis balls with our bare hands..the gloves fit very well, don’t affect my tennis racquet grip and the upper holes provide ventilation on hot days.

Fine glove, not good for golf
Someone told me to try a Racquetball glove for golve cuz it would be stronger, it was not but I don't think there was anything wrong with it for Racquetball.
