Excellent for moving a trailer that is too heavy, even empty, to readily move by hand.
Dolly appears to be well made and sturdy enough to last a long time. Assembly instructions were minimal but with significant experience in mechanical assembly, automotive work, etc. it was easy to figure out. The hitch ball supplied is 2". It has a smaller diameter shaft / thread, but it was easy to find a different diameter ball with the correct diameter shaft / thread. This enables use with trailers having different diameter ball requirements. I use it for both a 1-7/8 inch ball size trailer as well as a 2" just by swapping the ball. Overall very satisfied with this product - it works extremely well to eliminate the trailer weight on the power hauler that I use for moving trailers around.

Great customer service
To heavy for the delivery drivers. Box came all broken and taped up. Missing the small parts. I called the vendor and they sent all missing parts. Works great.

Buy new grease fittings ahead of time
This unit is adequate. The build on it is adequate, the connections are sturdy enough for the limited weight rating. It’s very difficult to back a trailer up with it due to two pivot points. This is an observation, not a product flaw. The grease fittings on the wheels- plan on replacing them both. They are made of the cheapest metal possible. The first one broke when I attached my grease gun, the second one is still stuck in my grease gun and I’m going to have to drill it out. Directions were straightforward enough for a Chinese built item.

Works for what we needed, decent frame, Poor Machining and Bearings — Needs Rework
We used this dolly to pull a ~4,000 lb fish house on the lake behind a four-wheeler. The frame is solid and the welds look decent, and from a strength standpoint the dolly does work for this application. The issues are with machining and components. There was paint on the wheel spindle diameters where the bearings are supposed to slide on. The paint prevented the bearings from sliding over the spindle and had to be sanded off. One axle had the cotter pin hole drilled off-center, making it impossible to install the cotter pin once the castle nut was installed. One spindle also had thread issues that required filing before the castle nut would thread on. The factory bearings are very poor-quality unsealed ball bearings. The wheels do have grease zerks and are intended to be greased, but even with grease the bearing quality is insufficient for real use. After about ½ mile of slow-speed operation, both wheels were shedding metal, one bearing shield was crushed from the factory installation, and one grease zerk fell out. I replaced all bearings with sealed bearings (6005-2RS, for reference), which resolved the issue and eliminates the need for greasing. I recognize this is one of the least expensive dolly options on the market, and to some extent the overall quality aligns with that price point. That said, the dolly works, but it would not last long with the original bearings and machining defects. Expect to inspect, modify, and upgrade components if you plan to use this beyond very light duty.

Works great!!
This town dolly is fantastic we are using it so we can move our wood splitter around with the SideXSide on heavily wood property. The only issue was when delivered it was dumped on our porch & the box looked like it had been in a war & lost. No damage to it but was missing some bolts & washers. The box had been taped up & the packing material inside was all busted up. Thankfully the tow dolly it self wasn't damaged.

Junk
Junk, Do not buy. Bearings went out first use. Seller only refunded 1/2 the money after it was sent back. Cheap imported junk, no quality.

Well built
This trailer dolly is well built with a nice finish. Assembled easily. Two caveats however; 1) the flange that curves around the ball receiver part was too wide for my application. I had to grind about 3/16" off so it did not rub on the frame and 2) I had to cut of about 1/2" to allow the hitch lock to close easily. No.. 1 had to do with my receiving end of the front of my gold cart. But No. 2 had to do with the hitch locking mechanism. When viewing from underneath the tongue bar rubbed against a flat piece of the locking mechanism and caused it to cant some and difficult to latch freely. Cutting the 1/2" off it fixed the problem. Overall I am happy with build and quality of the dolly. My use for it was to be able to move a 14' cargo trailer with my golf cart. I mounted a 2" ball on the front ( this is where the rubbing issue was). Also fitted a 2" receiver to the back which was well under the foot step of the rear facing seat. This is why I needed the extra length on the dolly tongue. While tricky I can push and pull the trailer with my golf cart. Why push you say? I needed to have the trailer head in in it's parking spot but did not have enough room to pull it in with my truck. Suits my purpose perfectly. Also it can be used to ramp a jet ski at the lake with the gold cart. Very happy solution to my situation
