I’m not sure how come no one mentioned this before. They are indeed thick and the tassels are beautiful. However, they come in an air tight package, and that makes them wrinkled beyond description. Unfortunately velvet can’t be ironed (per seller’s instruction). I wrote seller to ask how could I make them look better. Seller’s answer: “You can put the curtain on a shelf and hang the curtains evenly for few days. Then it won't wrinkle :D”Well, after 2 and 1/2 days hanging, they look just as bad as they did when they first arrived. I attempted to steam them with my iron, but it didn’t do them much good. My pictures arent the best, because velvet is a difficult fabric to photograph. But I think it passes the general idea of how much not-like-the-picture they look unless I find a way to straight them, without spending even more money sending it to the dry cleaners (I purchased 2 pairs, so this look costed me $258.00)Definitely, would not purchase this again.
