Tapatio Picante Hot Sauce Salsa, 10 oz (Pack of 3)

Outstanding! Beyond expectations, a great sauce.

I discovered this gem maybe 20 years ago in a local grocery store and have had it shipped to Hong Kong and Luxembourg while living abroad, it is that good. It is not a vinegary hot sauce like tabasco and much richer flavor, but a richer more chili hot sauce, smooth consistency with particles of chili, great addition to tacos, eggs, you name it. The heat is not too much, less than a jalapeno, probably even slightly less than tabasco.

Prime Time Direct wants a review for this, like they have any part in the manufacturing of Tapitio, and Amazon wants me to use words like "warmth", "thickness", and "flavor" because they also want you to believe that Prime Time Direct manufacturers Tapitio. Only thing is that Tapitio Foods makes Tapitio and all Prime Time Direct does is stick it in a box, slap a label on it, and deliver it through Amazon. Let me tell you though; the skill level displayed in the boxing of the Tapitio, and the label placement was excellent. The silicon brush that came in the bundle was a worthless piece of trash, but the skill displayed in boxing and delivering the Tapitio was second to none.

My favorite hot sauce; just enough heat & thickness; not runny; great flavor. It's been out of stock for some time in grocery stores; had to order online to get it.

If you're looking for great flavor that's not too hot then look no further. Tapatio has light heat but not too much and the flavor is great.

Everybody's different but this is my favorite hot sauce. If you're looking for an endorphin rush, this isn't the place. It's just a beautiful flavor with a nice spicy kick. Forget Frank's I put THIS s**t on everything!
