Chefman, Slow Cooker with Die-Cast Insert, Stainless Steel

Purchased this last year for a friend and they loved it. It was well priced way below the store price and needless to say it was a win, win. LOW price, great performance and cooks a variety of food which is amazing.

I have had 5 different slow cookers in my life and this is by far the best I have ever had. The entire unit is very light because the insert.isn't heavy ceramic. Being able to put the insert on the stove to sear meat or grill onions and then put it in the base is so very helpful. The slow cooker cooks extremely well. I love it.

Wow! It really does what it claims to do. My husband bought me this a few months ago. I've owned several slow cookers over the years and I was tired of having to lift this heavy ceramic pot out of the cooker to clean it. This not only allows you to brown food before you slow cook it but it is light as a feather and cleans up very easily.I've used it about 6 times and everything comes out great. I can't think of a single negative.

This replaced my old round crockpot with the very heavy ceramic insert. I wanted an oval shape as I thought it would be more useful. I needed something less heavy. I am very satisfied with this slowcooker. I have used it twice. I am very happy with the lightweight metal insert and it cleans up easily. I cooked an 8.34 # bone in turkey breast and it turned out very tender. I wish I had bought this sooner. The only feature that is missing that I feel could be very useful would be a timer that could be programmed to shut off at a certain time and/or go to the keep warm function. This was not a deal breaker for me and I think it is a good value for the price.

This was a great addition to our Thanksgiving meal. It was perfect for multiple side dishes and was able to heat and keep warm for hours. Nice size and a great price for this kitchen appliance. Will be using this for years to come!

Put in a roast, checked back and it had leaked all over my counter and onto the floor. It was not that full of liquid yet I took quite a bit out. Returned to kitchen, same thing happened again. This crock pot is the absolute worse. I know it is extremely dangerous. Will return.

Absolutely superb. Flexibility is excellent due to three heat settings + solid, thick aluminum non-stick insert allowing you to cook on a stovetop before moving on to completing other steps with the slow cooker activated. You can't go wrong (but much cheaper elsewhere than on Amazon.com).

Very nice and handy for small families in my book. Also very easy to clean after you use it. I have not carried it out yet but it is definitely a plus in my kitchen. I also think this would make a nice gift.

I love this! Easy cleanup, and lightweight . Food is delicious. There is no timer, so you will have to use your preference for timing; a small hiccup considering the value and quality of this slow cooker.
