Good replacement pads for my crutches.
Fairly easy to put on the pads and they fit perfectly on my aluminum crutches. The padding material is decent and look like the original pads that came with the crutches. No strange odor.

These work perfectly . They safe and secure . And best of all comfortable !
Some of the other crutch handles are quite hard and are not softer to use while being Frim enough to last . These are the ones that last and have some give to the preassure one puts on the handles with the palm. I had looked for a replacement set in six different pharmacies and to my amazement they did not sell a set anywhere anymore . I was told to buy on line and it was very confusing to decide which set to purchase. After mulling over reviews and checking close ups of pictures I finally decided to chose this brand . I had no idea what brand I had purchased nine years ago when I fractured my foot . I needed replacements for the crutches that were new. One set I had purchased was a nice black color but had no give to the palm and actually hurt my palm with the pressure of crunching around . I am so happy with these ! They are cushioned with spring to them but firm and safe without being flimsy. If you’re looking to buy replacements for crutches this is the product I recommend . It’s also a very good price . I will be taking not this time of the brand as it took much muddling through reviews and pictures to figure out what would be comfortable for daily use for a few months of healing . Do not hesitate to buy these . They are slightly textured for a good grip , easily replaced, and best of all have the spring of a cake just done in an oven with the firmness of a done cake ( for the bakers review) . Best of all it will accept the pressure of clutching about without torturing your hands . The bottoms pieces are good on traction even on long grass and snow . The arm pieces are as perfectly comfortable and well made as the palm grip . I have been on crutches many times over my lifetime with one thing or another with my feet and periodically over sixty years of living . These replacements are comfortable and secure and perfect. Not exciting to look at but they are made as they should be .

Amazing
I had an old pair of crutches that I needed to use. The pads were all dry and cracked. The replacement pads were perfect. Made the crutches just like new.

Be sure you understand process to replace hand grips
Installed replacements on Guardian Select Model 91-214-8 (weight capacity 300 pounds) aluminum crutches. I found these products to be at least adequate for my needs. The arm pads are a little bit looser than the pads I replaced, perhaps because the cushioning was less thick. However, they stay on the tops of the crutches adequately. The crutch tips are much more substantial than those pictured in reviews here that lasted a very short time. These are solid replacement tips. To replace the hand grips of the Guardian crutches properly, the top bar of the crutch needs to be separated from the upright tubes of the crutches. (YouTube video suggests tapping the top bars off with a rubber mallet.) Then you disengage the hand grips and slide them off the top of the tubes before removing and replacing the hand grip covers. Having no patience, and no rubber mallet available, I took a box cutter blade and sliced off the old, dilapidated hand grips. Continuing in my inpatient ways, I sliced the new hand grips from end to end and wrapped them around the hand grip core. These new hand grips fit between the tubes just fine. However, the grips are larger around than the core they fit onto, and the new grips need to be positively secured or they fall right off. I will choose between some meager drops of super glue, or some packing or strapping tape to make it so the hand grips cannot pop off. Since I am using wash cloths over the hand grips to cushion their use and absorb anything on my hands, the grips are not popping off, and I have time to choose between glue or tape.

these are universal replacement pads.
They were a good match for our old aluminum crutches. The hand grips are a bit of a challenge to slid on but the other pads slip right on and all are very secure. They look like they are medical grade and make crutches as comfortable as the can be.

Showing some wear after light use but still OK
I bought these to refresh the rubber parts on a pair of crutches from the late '80s and they fit. I think the brand is San Mateo Safety Crutches. The hand grips take a bit of work to get on, but that's good since they now don't rotate or move at all. Sort of like motorcycle hand grips; get the inside of the grip wet and the bar wet and they go on easier. My foot surgery was pretty extensive so I really haven't been very active. The pics are from 5 weeks of light use, mostly indoors. You can see some minor wear on the hand grips and on the bottom of the tips. The tips are really quite grippy and I haven't felt like I would slip at all. Even with the wear shown they still have excellent grip. I think of it like car tires. Softer rubber grips better, but may wear faster. I found the top pads had too much grip and sometimes grabbed onto my shirts, making positioning them under my arms a bit sketchy and made me concerned I could fall. I ended up adding fleece covered pads instead (minus the rubber grips from this set to debulk). For reference, I weigh about 175 lbs so I'm no heavyweight but also not a flyweight. If I experience any breakage of the rubber parts from normal use like I've seen in other reviews I'll update. But for now, these seem like solid replacement parts, but maybe not the last pair of crutch tips you'll need. See updates below. Updated pics after 10 more days of use. Updated with more pics after 9 weeks use. Definitely feeling some slippage on wet surfaces.
