Works very well as stated, well built can take a beating
I typically don’t leave feedback on a product, but with this one I feel it’s warranted. I have a 1993 Chevrolet 1500, I had bad exhaust donuts that was causing an exhaust leak, this truck being as old as it is doesn’t require emissions in my state but won’t pass inspection with an exhaust leak. Each manifold on the V6 has 3 studs, totaling 6 studs which all but 1 of the original studs snapped off, luckily there was at least an inch of the studs remaining, I sprayed the studs with good penetrant oil a few times and this tool removed all but one (still working on it) but it worked extremely well. The only thing to note it is fairly large about the same size as a 1/2 inch drill chuck, and it can be hard to get it to release the broken stud after removal, this may just have been due to mine being really rusted and stuck, have a large adjustable or channel locks handy it will help in the removal, I would say an impact helped but I used a ratchet to remove two of the studs due to I didn’t have room for my electric impact and it worked fine just took a little longer. This device will only work if you have a portion of the bolt or stud sticking out, it will not work on a flush break.

Great tool
If youre doing manifolds you'll want this. Works great, good grip, easy to use and saves a lot of time with vice grips and drills! Durable and pulls snapped bolts out easy. Its a lot bigger than what you think , but its solid and small enough to get into tight spaces.

Waste of money!!!
When I first opened the Dewill bolt extractor, I was originally impressed with the weight and seemingly sturdiness of the tool. However, once I took a closer look, the three jaws were loose and wiggly - like a loose tooth. I know they needed to move in and out to accommodate the bolt size but they shouldn’t move side to side. The tool was difficult to move by hand. As I hand tightened the tool, the 3 teeth didn’t always move in unison. When we actually tried to remove a bolt, the springs came loose and the jaws fell out. I guess you get what you pay for. Since I needed to remove the bolt, I purchased a PT Extractor from Autozone and instantly notice the quality difference. Save time and money and buy the better built extractor from the start.

Not the best design but it works
It works but as you tighten onto the bolt head it tends to travel up and looses its grip, I just hammered it back down and it worked perfectly.

Pleasently surprised at how well it works!
I work in a Ford dealership and removing broken exhaust studs is not a normal job, but it does come up from time to time. Not enough to justify buying a solution from the tool truck, but enough where it did justify buying this gem of a tool. After using it a dozen or so times I am pleasantly surprised at how well it works and the thought that went into it. It grabs tighter and tighter as you remove the broken stud, and it has options for both a 3/8th extension or ratchet, or you can use a socket or wrench on the end of it. I honestly don't know what size because I just use an 3/8th extension with a ratchet. After use on 4 different vehicles for over 20 studs being removed, it has shown no signs of wear yet. I am really pleased with it so far. THe price is great, so if it wears out in 5 years, I'll gladly buy another. It's a better solution then needing a second mortgage on my house to buy a stud remover from Snap-On.

Works, but not as sturdy as it first looks
After watching the video on this listing I decided to order one after the head snapped of on the thermostat housing of my 79’ trans Am, and I needed to get the frozen stud out of the intake manifold to replace it. I doused the bolt in penetrating fluid many times over the next 24 hours. The tool arrived next day, and I was exited to give it a try as it seemed heavy duty and up for the task. As there was a good 5/8 protruding from the intake, the tool was easily able to grip it, but it seemed the more I tightened it seemed to go crooked. I backed it off and reseated the tool and tightened it down again. As I used a 3/8 inch ratchet, it eventually stopped tightening and the bolt released and started to turn out. My joy however was short lived as I noticed that although it did the job, one of the teeth had sheered as can be seen in the attached picture. I think it just needs a little improvement, and it will be a good tool, but because it is now unusable. I’m giving it 3 stars because it removed the sheered bolt, but will be looking for a stronger option for next time.

Item works well
Quality and shipping were good

Breaks on first use, not meant for anything previously torque tightened
Doesn’t work, grip prongs get twisted up and misaligned rendering the whole thing useless.
