Best cat toy EVER

I don't have any photos of my cats playing with this cool toy because it requires a human holding one end of the toy for the cat to play with the other end. This is a great toy, though, especially for the small price. It coils up easily when play time is over and doesn't take up much room. I just put it in a drawer. NOTE: This is not a toy you need to leave lying around for your cat to play with by itself. It consists of a length of wire and 4 little stiff cardboard tubes about an inch to an inch and a half long. 3 are at one end stacked one on top of the other horizontally off the end of the wire and the other is on the other end of and perpendicular to the end of the wire so that it acts as a handle for the owner to control the wire. When the cat dancer wire is uncoiled, it forms a springy arc. With barely any movement on the part of the person holding the "handle" end, the other end springs into action and the cat bats at it to his heart's content. My cats go bananas when they see this thing being uncoiled. Their pupils dilate and they hunker down like lions in the savanna waiting to pounce on a 3 legged wildebeest with a limp. And for those who have cats who need a bit of exercise to get into shape, even "round" cats can be enticed to play with this toy. Not every cat will like every toy, but for the price, this is a good cat toy to try. NOTE: If the 3 little cardboard tubes on the business end of this cat toy come off, you need to get rid of the toy and get a new one. We've only had one that had that issue and it lasted for a few years. We certainly got our money's worth out of it.

I tripped upon this searching for other cat toys and remember that my cat I had 20 years ago really loved this wire toy. Purchased one for my current cats and was delighted to find that they absolutely love it too.

The media could not be loaded. I love the simplicity of this cat toy! I highly recommend finding something sturdy to attach it to that won’t fall over from your cat(s) tugging/playing with it. In this video I have it attached to a part of a cat tree that is not connected to its whole counterpart, instead it’s placed on our coffee table for best height. I have a 10 lbs dumbbell weight holding that piece down.My one and only complaint would be that the wire will straighten out over time. We’ve only had it for a few months and I’ve tried to bend it back into its original curve with only half success. I do wonder if a thicker wire or different metal would prove more durable. Totally worth the price and will prove to be so much fun!! I highly recommend this fun toy!

Kitten tested, cat approved. Endless entertainment for your feline friend. The cardboard rolls on the end will eventually wear out from the chewing. You can manipulate one end and have the cat pounce on the opposite end, or they can entertain themselves by playing with the springy wire. Sprinkle some catnip on the cardboard to make it even more exciting. As always its a good idea to monitor your pet with new toys, they can come up with creative ways to injure themselves sometimes.

I've tried many many toys to get my cat to play and it's always the same thing: she just watches me flicker around the toy but rarely ever goes after anything. That is until I purchased this toy. At first, I thought it was cheap and ridiculous as it's really only a steel wire attached to some cardboard, however, my cat instantly loved it. She chases it bats it around and even rips it out of my hands. The wire is strong and flexible and as a result, it will flicker and bounce around with just the slightest movement. This causes the toy to dart around like an insect which seems to be why my cat loves it. With minimal effort, the toy attracts her attention and gets her running around the living room. The strength of the wire seems impressive as after several weeks I've noticed no deterioration in its flexibility or texture. The cardboard is also quite strong as my cat is found of taking it from my hands and gnawing on the toy after several minutes of play. Despite this, I've noticed my determination or misshapenness. This toy is definitely a must-have.

My cats love laser, but when we bring out the cat dancer everyone one wants to participate! Easily the best toy investment we have made to entertain our cats.

Thought I was getting a 3 pack for the price. Particular seller asking to much for product that's sold much cheaper. Don't know how they do this.. But hey cat loves it..oops on my part not checking other Amazon prices..
