NO, NO, NO!!!
No, don't do it!! I didn't read the negative reviews before buying and I should have. Puritan's Pride no longer sells Cascara Sagrada so I ordered this. This does not work!! I took 5 or 6 ( more than my normal amount of 2 or 3) and all it did was make me miserable with stomach pains. It got so bad I was actually wondering if I was really sick. After reading the negative reviews I ordered the Now brand that a couple people recommended and I'm back to normal, whew. I even compared these pills to the Now brand pills; these are really light in color while the Now brand is darker; I don't know what they put in this, but it sure doesn't seem to be cascara sagrada.

Easier than laxitives
Prefer cascara for bowel regimen. Add papaya enzyme for extra help. Cascara doesn't cause those horrible cramping you get eith laxatives.
