These buffalo horns are the longest-lasting chews I’ve ever bought. My dogs stay busy for months with them, and they hold up incredibly well. Great for heavy chewers!

My 60lb lab-dalmatian isn't a "power chewer" but a "power nibbler" - she's a little mouthy and loves to use her front teeth to nibble and tear (rather than back teeth to chomp and crush). She eats jumbo rawhide bones in a couple of hours (and they give her soft poop) so we alternate between these horns (which seem to be lasting FOREVER) and the Himalayan Yak Chews (which last about a week). They do have some odor when wet (like wet dog) but it doesn't linger. They can be REALLY tough to start out with, so watch your dog the first few times until they start to soften. Also, the splinters when dry can poke and make gums bleed, so watch out for that as well. But these really are the longest-lasting chew I've seen. The small are a little bigger diameter-wise than my big dog's paw. Lastly, I like these better than most chews because even when my dog gets into it, she only is able to get tiny pieces at a time - with every other chew (rawhide, bully sticks, yak chews), once they're soft and she gives a good bite, she'll get a huge chunk, swallow, and the chew is halfway gone.

My two Bassett Hounds love these things- to the point they fight over them, even though we have four of them! They're pretty indestructible- I was shocked. They aren't slimy or stinky, either- another surprise. They haven't splintered or broken off- very important when you already have high maintenance animals. Pleased, and will purchase again- if I ever have to!

I bought one large buffalo horn at a boutique pet store and it lasted my pitbull 3 months (from 6-9 mo old). These are smaller, but also durable. We've only gone through 2 in one month, which I credit to our power chewer for figuring them out after the first one! Just be careful with them, they splinter and break off in typically small pieces (which isn't a concern) but one piece did get stuck in my dog's gums which I had to pry out with some tweezers. I think this pack is worth the price and great if your dog is a strong chewer!

High marks for thickness.

Update: I received my package earlier this afternoon at about 3:00 p.m. I gave one to my 11pound Shih Tzu, not a strong chewer at all. I just had to throw it away at 6:30 due to being able to bite a chunk off. I always check chew toys, etc. for anything that can harm them and I always monitor the dogs when they have these horns, I was watching her the time & she manages to bite off a chunk and by the time I got to her, she’d already swallowed it. I was laying right next to her. I don’t recommend this product at all and I’m going to return them. They splinter so fast and when they bite a portion, little or big, it’s like giving a dog a cooked or raw chicken leg. I will not purchase this again. I purchased two of these horns. One for my daughter’s 80 pound dog and one for my husband’s 80 pound dog. They’ve got different chewing styles, but are both strong chewers. Each dog had theirs chewed to the point of them starting to sliver in about 1.5-2 months, which then had to be taken away and tossed because as soon as they start splintering they get very sharp. The base of the horn is much, much thicker and harder to chew, that’s why they lasted so long. I do recommend these horns, but always monitor your dogs when chewing or playing with toys. If these horns were as thick at the tips as they are at the base, they’d last quite a while.

My babies love these!!!! Totally recommend most especially for great danes!! our 8month old Dane goes gaga for this and it keeps her busy from not tearing up her blanket lol

Your dog is going to love it and the flavour is there for them. My carolina dog is a chewer and she has been breaking this horn up for a good two months and almost done. Haven't had any issues of her getting any shards stuck in her mouth, though I've got a few stray pieces in the foot. Best advice I can give is vacuum up where they are eating it and prepare for that smell, because it is there. Just open a window and you're dandy.

Our dogs LOVE these! (Frenchie and Frenchton) And the fight over them constantly. They have a few other chew bones and toys but they always look for these water buffalo horns. They will splinter slightly so you do have to watch for pieces if your dog tends to swallow those. But they take a long time to get to that point. Luckily our dogs don’t swallow the pieces they just leave them lying around everywhere.
