Antler King Starter Pack MEGA Food Plot

I got this to see what the deer and animals in my area like to nibble on in the spring, I ordered it and 3 days later I got it at my doorstep. I opened it up and they come in small packages big enough to fit in my hand about 1/2-1lb each. It says it can do 500 square feet for each packet of seed. I got a little more than 500 square feet out of the ones I tested. I went through and tested the soil and treated it with Antler King's "plot max" and it raise it a little but I added some lime to help with the soil ph levels. I then hand tilled each area and planted the whole packet and hand tilled it again to cover the seeds with dirt and sprayed the area down with water. I wasn't expecting much from a "test kit" but man did it grow. These plants shot right up from the ground and grew heavily writhing the first two weeks. I was so interested and proud they were growing so fast I couldn't brag enough to my hunting buddies. I went out there once a week to water them. (They were in shade under some trees, so I made sure they got water). I did this in my field behind my house, but I wish I would've done this by my stands! They all grew as well as the companies YouTube videos show. The one I was most impressed with was the "red zone" mix. This is the taller variety out of them all so I was waiting for it to maybe get 12" tall but it came to about 3-4 feet! Within a month I saw deer everyday behind my house wondering around savaging around the area, picking here and there to see what they like, and a month after they grew they were gone! The deer and critters have eaten them all! Great product! Highly recommend for hunters who want to figure out what food plots are like and what the wildlife around them like to eat!

This kit is a great way to determine while will grow in your area and also determine what food mixes the deer prefer. The DVD was fantastic and the liquid samples of Plot Max and Jolt fertilizer are a nice touch. Including the ph testing kits is what convinced me to buy the kit and I'm glad I did.

Gave 4 stars like soil test kits but seeds didn’t come up that good.

My mom likes to feed the deer but it's now against the law here in Michigan due to chronic wasting disease. Luckily it's still safe to grow food plots and this product was awesome for finding out exactly what the deer liked best.

It's nice to get to see what grows good in your area but I feel like they stretch the no till stuff I haven't had any good success with anything I didn't till very well I don't buy that some what false advertisement. Unless you live where the soil is amazing then you need to till
