Wired overhead speakers
The cables feed easily through the walls up to the attic and over rafters and insulation to reach overhead speakers for Dolby Atmos. Got a lot of speaker cable for a reasonable price.

Excellent value plus three usage tips
Excellent value for pure copper speaker cable. In light of the reviews, a couple of points to note:1. It is not as stiff as I was expecting from the reviews...not stiff like Romex cable. Just don't expect it to be pliable like cheap speaker wire.2. Like most speaker wire, it has no shielding. So be sure to not run it too close to power cables or extension cords.3. As for the stripping challenges some reviews mentioned, use a utility knife to the but sheating gently at a right angle to the wire. Once you make that cut, the remaining inch or two from the end can be safely pulled off with a pair of wire cutters.I am doing a 20 foot run on each side with 4-ohm speakers, and they sound like they should. My roll had the full fifty feet promised. It is good quality and I'd buy this wire again in a heartbeat.Highly recommended.

great price and real copper wire, too
I was about to order the monoprice version of this ($5 more) but got this instead. glad I did, its every bit as good as the other brands, its REAL copper wire (takes solder tinning very well), it has good insulation, the outer jack can be pulled off with 2 pairs of pliers and some hand force (no need to slice a long length, just cut 1/4" from the top). fits the cable 'pants' nicely. only minor complaint would be that the cable is a bit stiff, but its not a showstopper by any means. will probably buy another roll to replace some other zip cord cabling I used.update: link to 'cable pants' that fit this wire well: https://www.amazon.com/Parts-Express-844632003585-Cable-2-Conductor/dp/B0009XVREG

Very stiff
I love cable matters and cables2go, however I did not like this specific cable, the main reason is a relatively stiff cable, and there is a sensible gap between the outer jacket and the internal conductors.Maybe I am being unfair since it is an in-wall cable, however I've been spoiled by the Monster Cable S14-R2-CL which was 14AWG, in-wall rated and the outer insulation was kind of injected so that there was no gap between the outer insulation and the individual wires, this cable was extremely flexible so it was possible to make nice patch cables. Sadly the monster cable is not in production anymore.Coming back to the CableMatters one, I' ve used it for around 6 years as patch cables between my wall connectors and the speakers and after I removed them from duty (location changed) I inspected the cable in some internal places and is like brand new, which means the insulation is very good at not letting the copper wire to oxidize. It is a very good quality cable, just stiff.

Little stiff, but I guess that is AWG 16. Good quality. It is as advertised.
Speaker Sound is good. No distortion. I guess I could have gone for AWG 18 Oxygen-Free Bare Copper wire, but this is NOT bad at all quality-wise. The foot marking on the outer sleeve really helped cut the wires to appropriate lengths. The copper strands could be soldered for using in speaker pins (RCA and Banana).

Ordered more
This is my second order because the first order went into service too soon! I wanted another 100-ft roll but had to settle for two fifty-foot spools. As far as sound quality, I do not know; I am using the cable for 12-volt lighting circuits in my house and off the grid cabin. The cable diameter is about the size of a pencil so it handles very nicely and is able to be "snaked" around easily. I will buy more if needed.

Niiiice cable
Had concerns that I might have been too lazy to go to the pro shop and buy wiring locally. Not any more, doubt I would've found as good of quality wiring in store for price I paid online. This is really good wire, no joke. Installing whole-house intercom & audio system and am really glad I bought this stuff. Pulls and runs good. Solid outer shielding. Strands twist, cut, and behave well.Only gripe which is truly trivial - two spools, each in their own box, arrived in one gigantic box together with a lot of extra room inside. Just ship the boxes separately.
