Essential Basic Information !
This should be required reading for anyone concerned with the evidence that might exist on a cellular phone. It is written for the first responder, but even if you don't think you will ever be the first person to lay hands on the phone in question, you will benefit from knowing how and why it should be handled. A small investment that might pay large dividends! I highly recommend !Patrick Alexander, Criminal Defense Investigator

Good book for a first responder.
If you have any experience with cell phones it's really not worth it. Not the best money I ever spent. The suggested camera in the book was terrible, sent it back. Would not focus.

Not worth your money.
The content is generic and not informative if you are looking to learn the matter in depth. Not worth it.

Cellular Forensics for First Responders
This should not be described as a book, it barely has 50 pages and that is only because a large font was used and lots of black and white photos. The "book" was overpriced as well.

Most Timely
At long last there's a clear, concise guide for police officers on the problems, pitfalls, and solutions to cellphones and the Fourth Amendment. In this constantly evolving field of the law, Mr. Slovenski gives practical advice to those on the frontlines wanting to preserve valuable cellphone evidence. This book is a must-read for every law enforcement agency.

Must Read for DF Investigators
After reading this I had to show it to all the agents in my office. I never knew Faraday Bags were so important! Cell phones are scary things and their potential for good seems to be marred by their more often malicious uses.

Read Wikipedia instead....
Much too basic, too little content, too much obvious content (get a search warrant, really?) I read it in 5 minutes. Google search cellular forensics instead. Sorry I wasted my money on this. Printed in a giant font to increase page count.

it is packed with a great deal of worthy information and the BASICS of handling ...
I recently had the opportunity to read this book, Cellular Forensics for First Responders. Although it is a very short read, it is packed with a great deal of worthy information and the BASICS of handling a cell phone during an investigation. Being a paralegal for 10 years in Family Law, I have seen first hand how cell phones are always brought in for questioning when it comes to a cheating spouse /partner during a nasty divorce or child custody case. Oh how a mad and betrayed spouse always wants the incriminating evidence off the cell phone in hopes that it will support his or her case for a better outcome. Before reading Cellular Forensic for First Responders, I only knew of the basics of how to handle and navigate through a cell phone's content. Little did I know the importance of WHAT NOT TO DO while retrieving the contents from a cell phone. Now I know the importance of keeping such contents intact , and how to work with what you have on hand to gather such data from the cell phone. After reading this book I realized there is a lot of important information and DNA that a cell phone carries. I would suggest this to be a definite read for paralegals as well; since we are the second hand to the attorney handling his or her case. This book is short, simple, and to the point, which I like.
