While it's closed can you swing it like mycroft holmes from bbc sherlock?

I'm very familiar with Mycroft's character style. This umbrella while closed is very sturdy and great to lean against while both ankles are crossed in a very Britsh-like pose. Beware though that the handle might be a little too tight and thick for your entire hand to fit around. I frequently use it in a similiar way and glad it's very strong and won't easily break when used for gestures and other movements. It's a good choice if you don't want to buy an expensive umbrella, over $300, like the one Mycroft Holmes uses. It's a good buy, I highly recommend it.

How does this umbrella fare in heavy winds?

We had some pretty nasty winds in Georgia over the weekend, 20+, it held up fine. It's really a great umbrella. I never thought I'd feel so strongly about one but there it is ;-)
