Bought this for our grandson's baptism to keep his certificate in. Had it engraved with name/date and it is beautiful. (Stephan items are top quality) IF it were mine, I would probably put a small piece of tape around it under the bow to make sure it stays closed. In spite of this I would recommend it above the alternatives out there...

Just had a new grand baby girl and she will be christened Sunday after Easter! this will be my 3rd one for the grandbabies! and so much nicer in person but they raised the price just a little but still worth every penny! when taking it to be engraved they were able to put all information on it- just wish it had a stand because it would look so much nicer sitting out but overly pleased! heavy and inscription is beautiful- it's getting harder and harder to fine Stephen baby gifts- I hope he didn't go out of business!

This was a perfect gift for a friends baby’s baptism! Being from another country, she wasn’t as familiar with this as my American friends but it was a huge hit, everyone thought it was a great idea!

Bought this for my grandson's baptism and it was exactly what I wanted. Took it to a local store and had it engraved for a minimal cost. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it opens in the middle and is not a tight fit. Any time you handle it, it comes apart. The ribbon in the middle helps a bit, but it would have been a five star if it had twisted together or had some sort of sealing gasket. Overall, a great purchase!

Delivered promptly and was very pretty...just perfect for a gift for baptism to hold the certificate...this is a keepsake that will last forever!

The certificate holder was fine, but I wish now that I hadn't gotten it because it came with no stand to hold it. Are those stands for sale separately? I'll be more careful next time. Like I indicated, this was my fault in not being more careful in my selection.

Beautiful, heavy enough, does not feel cheap. Only downfall is I could not get it engraved thru amazon.

Looks more beautiful in person. There is a place for an inscription and it pops apart in the middle so you an insert the baptismal certificate. I did recieve it one day after the gaurenteed date but luckily it was still in time for my god daughter's baptism.
