Wow. This works far better than anticipated. It gets hot really fast. What a deal for the price. Quality feels really good in the hand. Can’t say for longevity but first experiences and tests are A+

I love this hot knife. It heats up very quickly cuts foam like butter. This is my second hot knife I have purchased and definitely more useful than the expensive one I bought first. It’s worth every penny.

Works wonderful

I tried to use the other options besides the straight long knife, but it wouldn’t work (the red light would flicker and it wouldn’t heat up. Worked great with the long knife though. Used it for foam carving for an elementary school musical.

The temp control doesn't work right and is either too hot or burns the material.

I’ve been using it to cut pink styrofoam insulation. Works really well.

I bought this to cut out the electrical for my ICF house. It worked fine for a bit (5min)then the cutter sheared off. I guess we were pressing too hard? The directions said to set the temp so that it doesn’t smoke. We did that but it meant you had to apply pressure for it to cut. Unfixable and had to cut everything by hand with a saw.
