My 10 yr old Golden Retriever was seeing a specialist Mar 2024 who suggested Green Lipped Mussel for his achy elbows and he's been taking it since then. I have been using Green Lipped Mussels for several years. I decided to get off from them, as I did not think they really worked. BOY, was I wrong! About 2 weeks after refraining from them, I woke every morning in pain and discomfort. I'm sure a lot of this pain is due to my aging body (60) but I decided to order them again. I'm now about a week into taking these, and WALLA! no pain in the morning

This is not same omega XL I use it almost 5 days now start feeling pain at my knee again

I have tried a gelcap and other capsule from two other brands. This brand along side with glucosamine and chondroitin have made a difference. I am hopeful that it will continue to.

I had joint pain so I started taking Omega XL and within 3-5 days I had a noticeable improvement. However that stuff is expensive so I started looking for an alternative. This said that it was the same omega-3 from the green mussels of New Zealand so I figured hey this is the same thing but cheaper. I mean this is $12.95 and the other thing is like $36 so that's a big difference. But sadly it is not the same. First of all Omega XL is a fish-oil but this is some kind of powder it's not an oil at all. Within five days after switching all my pain has come back. I guess you get what you pay for.

I used this product for pain relief in my joints and sciatic pain relief. The first 2 bottles I ordered were absolutely great with zero fish odor and worked wonderfully. However, this shipment (at least 1 bottle I opened) has a very strong fish odor and makes me nauseated when taking it. I was hoping to at least return the unopened bottle for a refund. Cannot chance ordering this brand again. What is a customer to do when receiving an unhealthy product, with quality control not to be trusted.
