If you’re reading this, you’re probably on the fence — thinking there’s no way these are real 6200mAh packs, or the connectors are junk, or they won’t have any real power. Well, you’d be very wrong. I grabbed a pair because my truck had been sitting for 5–6 years and my old $500 Traxxas packs were completely dead. I wasn’t about to drop that kind of money again, so I figured I’d give these a shot — especially since they come with TRX connectors. Total no-brainer. They fit the X-Maxx perfectly. The TRX connectors plug right into the truck (not the Traxxas charger), so you’ll need a hobby charger or an adapter if you want to use the stock Traxxas charger. Performance-wise, these cells hit hard. Tons of punch, long runtime, and when I ran them down to about 5% and recharged, they actually exceeded the rated mAh. No heat from the main leads, no puffing, and the balance connectors are nicely built with solid ends. I didn’t get these for free — just sharing my luck with a surprisingly well-built, affordable pack. Already ordering more. 🔋💪

These were purchased for an older Stampede 2wd VXL and they seem to work great. The arrived well balanced and after 5 or so charge cycles, things are holding up well. Decent power and run times for the older, light 2wd truck. I'd recommend these for any basher/hobbyist level vehicles.

Great batteries for bashing in my BL converted Revo 3.3. Easy enough to run a jumper and a second pack when I need a little more sauce. They give a solid 25-40 minutes of runtime depending on how I'm driving and don't even warm up, let alone get hot, through the entire run. I had some battery strap issues early on and tossed one pack twice at 35+ mph and it suffered no real damage so the hard case appears to be of good quality. I haven't had any charging or balancing issues to speak of, but one pack in the first set took a long time to balance during its initial charge. It has been just fine ever since. I'm oldschool and only charge them at 1C even though the manufacturer says 2C is safe. I've got a dual charger so one set of two will last for as long as it takes the other two to charge. I also run them in my otherwise totally stock brushed Slash and get 40+ minutes on a charge even when bashing hard.

I’ve bought many 3s hoovo batteries and I just bought the new traxxas modified and needed 2s before I upgrade to 3s system and it ran the car perfectly, I feel like I should have gotten a little longer play time but overall great and i think is the best “cheap” batteries money can buy
