Worked perfectly on Raypack p-406A-EN-C
I installed this (along with the pilot supply tube - Raypack 004078F Pilot Tube Spa Pak 53A) on our Raypack pool heater model P-R406A-EN-C. The part comes with good installation instructions including pictures. Our pool heater wouldn't fire up - it kept cycling like it was trying to fire, but it wouldn't. I believe it was because the heat sensor on the pilot assembly was shot. Replaced (less than 1-hour work) the pilot assembly, tested for leaks (soapy water) and everything works perfectly now (been working for two months so far without issue).

Exactly what I needed
I would have loved this to be a bit easier to get to, but this part was what I needed to solve my problem on my heater. I thought the heater had stopped working, but this new ignition is exactly what I needed. Thank you for saving me $1500 to $1900.

I reveived a factory part and it works!
This is a factory part with a reasonable price. So far so good.

Very easy install
Worked first time right out of the box. Super easy installation. I'm glad I did this myself instead of paying somebody else.

Come on and light my fire - at least for a few more years.
Installed in a mid-nineties Raypak Versa 185-405C, where the original one had rusted to the point where the it was no longer reliable. Item comes pre-configured for natural gas with an extra orifice for propane. The brass piece includes an integrated compression fitting for 1/4" OD aluminum tubing. I also replaced the bracket and pilot tube at the same time. Instead of using the Amazon recommended Raypak tubing (which doesn't appear correct for this application), I used the multi-application RobertShaw 11-293 1/4" pilot tubing, which was perfect for this application and came with the correct fittings for my gas valve. The unit I received had a white wire instead of the pictured blue, however the color is not a concern. I am a bit uneasy with the thickness of the insulation as compared to the original piece, but it appears to work reliably so far. Item includes a piece of rubber hose to insulate at the ignition module.

Worked very well!
This did the job on my RayPak 2100. I had been advised by generally knowledgeable people to look for a 'bad thermocouple' - a separate device that's present on most gas systems to tell the main valve when it's safe to let gas through. I searched high and low for one, but couldn't find one on my unit. It turns out, this little self contained unit reports back to the motherboard whether or not the pilot is on (and therefore safe to open the main valve.) It took less than an hour to remove the old one, and put this one in. I would say that if you're not seeing your pilot light (or stay lit) and the heater's not complaining about anything else (like a flame-out, which would indicate some sacrificial fuse needs replacing), then it's a good bet to go ahead and replace this part.

This works well
This assembly works well. It install onto the support bracket nicely. He brass fitting was of no use as the new supply line doesn’t fit into it but, with it removed, the line will thread into the nozzle. Be careful not to loose the orifice that is in the nozzle
