Inexpensive and work for casual use and practice, why spend a lot on restraints, when they can easily be overcome and removed with shims placed into the locking gears. The chain links can also be scored on concrete , twisted and broken. Hand cuffs and leg irons can be removed by someone when they are educated in their operation and potential means of failure. Hidden handcuff keys are carried by most of the gangsters now a days, so restraints are only a temporary deterrent. For daily transport and law enforcement use, a more durable restraint with high quality steel, links and black box would be needed. But these work well, but are heavier than plastic zip ties, and 100 mile per hour tape. Also good for securing gas cans and spare tires in the jeep or SUV when out hunting or fishing in the urban jungle, just maintain corrosion control and keep them lubricated.

Noticeably smaller than my other pair, these can only click like once or twice before they're pinching, whereas my other pair can go like halfway. I think I have pretty normal size ankles.Other than that, exactly what you'd expect. Very strong, certainly not going to let you down.

Respectable entry level leg irons. 16" chain decent length for those new to leg iron use. No mention of manufacturer or warranty which is a little unsettling. Shipping was well within estimate and done with discretion, but recieved in slightly damaged packaging.Great value for the price, but would ultimately be more confident in name brand restraints.

Like most of you reading this I bought these to handcuff my wife to the bed While getting down. I opted for these as they had a longer chain. My goal was to secure the middle of the chain to the headboard using a cleat and 3" screws. It worked great! It was just long enough to secure below our mattress so it could be hiddent when not in use, and still be long enough on both sides for use. My wife is an average size woman and she can slip out if she really really tries.TLDR; you can totally bang your wife in these

For those of you who have also looked at the popular MTECH S4508 handcuffs, these leg cuffs are almost the exact same thing, but with a longer, heavier chain. They even come with the same sets of keys which work for both, and that's pretty convenientThat being said, these things are great, sturdy, and come exactly as described. I'm surprised its not rated 5 stars, and frankly, the low ratings seen above don't really seem valid. The one guy who gave them 3 starts only did because the cuffs don't have a warranty (which isn't even in the product description anyways)

I used it to make a holster/case for an officers gunbelt... he liked it so much he bought the case and the shackles from me... LOL! Too cool. Arwythur
