Our dryer was making so much noise, I thought I would have to buy another. A friend told me about this kit and we used it. No problems. It has everything you need to repair. Deeply appreciate the price also.

One of the FAQ's I get when someone walks into my garage is...."How OLD is that dryer?". Well, it predates Y2K, if that tells you anything. It's had a couple of heating elements over the decades, but this is the first time it's actually been apart. And as you can see from my pics, it was due. The dryer starting squeaking on startup about 2 months ago....and graduated to a deafening screeeeeech all the time. Look at the drum rollers and you'll see why. So it got new rollers and a new belt today thanks to this kit. The kit comes with 2 new rollers, plastic retainers, a pal nut, belt, and belt tensioner. And while the job may look intimidating, it's really pretty simple. On my old Amana, you unplug the dryer, pop the front of the lid up with a screwdriver to access the two front panel screws, and then remove them. Once they're out, the front panel lifts out and you can remove the drum. Then remove the back cover, and you'll see the two nuts that hold the rollers in. Remove those, and the rollers are out. Break the old plastic retainers to remove the rollers from the shafts. Clean and oil the shafts, slide the new rollers on, and attach the plastic retainers and reinstall. Done. Next, pop the new belt tensioner in place and slide the drum back in with the belt around it. Feed the belt through the motor pulley, and stretch it on to the motor. Reinstall panels and you're done. It goes without saying that this is a great time to vacuum the lint out of the dryer....and there will probably be a lot. Everything fit exactly like the original parts. Instructions are included and are easy to follow. The quality and durability of the kit look great, and everything functions perfectly. My dryer is nice and quiet again and running like a top. This kit is a bargain for what it does.

Perfect fit for my Maytag dryer. I was getting a lot of noise and I did manage to clean the rollers, but then saw how dry rotted the belt was. I saw this kit with new wheels and clips and was able to order overnight. Be careful when removing the front of the dryer. Some have metal clips that you need to lift the front up and off. I accidently broke off both the hooks on the bottom mounting clips and did not notice. I spent way too much time trying to reinstall before realizing the clips were gone. The part for the clips is W10854425. Easy to install, appears to be close to OEM quality. Had a lot of trouble with the steel slip washers, and ended up reusing the original. Got some more life out of my dryer. Easy with some basic instructions, but YouTube has better videos.

Bought this item for the drum wheel. Didn't need the other items but was same price if I would have bought the wheel by itself. My Kenmore dryer is 20 years old. It needed a wheel. The wheel was completely wore out and was making a terrible noise. Bought this item, installed the wheel and up and running in 15 mins. Overall a good product. Exact fit. 4stars because not sure if the longevity. Time will tell

My 25-yr old Kenmore gas dryer has developed a squeal with a heavy load or until the drum has sufficiently warmed up.
