Great When Fresh Oregano Isn’t Around
I keep this Litehouse freeze-dried oregano on hand mainly for my two bunnies, especially when I can’t find fresh oregano at the store. I give it to them as a little immune boost—especially when they’re sneezing or seem a bit off. I’m hoping the natural antimicrobial and antiviral properties help them recover a bit faster. They both seem to enjoy it! It smells and tastes way fresher than regular dried oregano—almost like fresh. I use it in cooking too sometimes, but mostly it’s for the bunnies. The only downside is the jar is small and a little pricey. I do wish they offered a larger size. But the quality is excellent, so I keep coming back to it. Really glad to have this as a backup when fresh herbs aren’t available.

LOVE Litehouse Herbs!
Been using Litehouse products for a number of years now. Let's face it, we can't always use fresh herbs, but the Litehouse freeze dried herbs are just like fresh herbs. The Freeze Dried process is the key to this. Mine have lasted well past the use by date on the product (usually at least 2 years on the jar) - still strong with flavor. I love that I can buy these and know I'll use the whole jar and not have to throw any away because they last so long. When I was buying non-freeze dried herbs, I always had to toss half a jar or more because I didn't use them fast enough and they'd lost all taste/flavor. So if you hesitate buying these because of the cost, consider how many jars of herbs you've thrown away in the past. Thank you, Litehouse!

Bright and Fresh Flavor
This oregano has nice sized flakes which are easy to crush if finer is what you want. No stems. Bright green and not brown. This is my second order and Litehouse will be my go-to for oregano. Really nice quality.
