This shower head looks amazing in our new bathtub. It's not too difficult to install, and leaves all of the shower controls and piping on the exterior of the wall. The exterior controls makes maintaining or replacing the controls relatively easy. No need to open the wall up, and rip down all of the tiling. The controls are a little unconventional: you turn the left side handle backward (toward the wall) for the shower head, and forward (toward you) for the tub head. To use the wand you need to have the tub valve on, and you pull the knob on-top of the tub head. The control the temperature from the knob on the right, which is normally set at 100 F by default. You can manually control the temperature by pressing in the lock, and turning the control. The system also has 2 built in ball valves to make isolating the shower system easy. These valves are on the Hot/Cold supply lines, and turn 90 degrees with an allen key. The spray/water pressure is great without needing to illegally modify the flow restrictors. You do need to buy the Hansgrohe 16181181 Wall Installation Kit. which is installed with 1/2" FNPT fittings before the tiling, and then cut to length after the tiling is completed. They also give you a couple of plugs with the kit; these allow you to plug the line, and turn the water supply back on to your home while the bathroom is being tiled. There are quite a few parts to this system, but any plumber should be able to figure out how to install this system relatively easily.

Had this installed cannot use it as the temperature mixer not working and the right handle is cracked. I wrote to Hansgrohe and started an inquiry and got nothing back. Too bad!!!!

We decided to use this for our outdoor shower. The unit is really well made. Joints, fittings, finish and weight are excellent. If you do not use the install kit there are a couple things to know. The margin of error on spacing the supply lines is extremely low. The escutcheon holders aren’t designed to fit on tapered pipe. There looks like a special tool needed to forcibly wrench them on. I use a couple of long screws and a wrench as a lever. The controls are a little awkward and I imagine my guests asking me how to use them. That’s with most shower systems with diverters. I like the temp and overhead lockouts. Nice touch. Really love the look and build quality on this. I think the hand spray hose could be a little shorter. It’s like 6ft. First product from them I’ve bought, will consider them in the future.

Great looking 3 in 1 product, just installed and seems to work well. However, a little tiny knob is missing on the side of the lever. Reached out to customer support haven’t received a response yet. :-(

This is a great price for Hansgrohe quality, and it includes a hand shower, rainhead shower, and tub filler. Also, the unit is designed for renovations, and it has a loft design look. Our contractor found it easy to install. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but we'll leave the instruction booklet for guests. Also, the unit has a stop to keep children from getting scalded (you have to push in a button to increase the temperature of the water after a certain point).

I love the Shower. You can chose between one shower head or the other and he pressure is very good. I like that you can set it to your desired temperature so when you turn it on there is no adjusting necessary.

Water pressure very low in both shower heads. And it's got nothing to do with the general water pressure because all other faucets/ showers work fine (including another different grohe model- raindance). Can't return because it's past 30 days since purchase, and I have only just discovered this problem after installation!

This is a beautiful addition to our bathroom remodel! It is classic looking but also unique. The installation was standard and we had no issues. It's great to have two heads, one for showering and one to use for baths. Highly recommend!
