Amazon Basics roll cutting machine for paper, A4

This has been a superb piece of equipment. It’s sturdy and cuts the paper and card well. It stores away nicely as it is smaller in size. It’s easy to use and cuts both ways so it saves on time. Each cut is accurate and the measurement guides help. Great tool!

Does the job - great value for money. Was sticking at first but I added some WD40 and has been great ever since 👍🏻

Out of the box: The first few times I used it the blade was hard to push/pull for the cut. Then I cleaned off the rubber wheel that guides the blade over the plastic guard and since then it's been smooth as silk. I get clean cuts whether I'm cutting 1 sheet of photo paper or 3 sheets of 300gsm card stock - or grey board (some call chip board). pros: Very sharp and accurate. Cuts through up to 10 sheets of 80gsm card to 4 sheets of 300gsm with no effort. cons: Only measures up to 16cms, but I get around this by abutting it to my media mat and use it to measure widths longer than that. Also: measurements are only in metric, so for that one country that refuses to join the rest of the world this will probably be a problem, but you could always buy an adhesive tape measure in imperial and cover the metric....they're only a couple of $$ from eBay and at the price of this rotary trimmer, it would be worth it. ....and one last thing....I also have the Tonic Studios Tim Holtz Rotary Trimmer. I like the Amazon Basics Rotary Trimmer better - and I paid AUD170 for the other one, and only AUD39.90 for the Basics branded one.

Tolle Roll-Schneidemaschine! Ich habe schon einige Schneidemaschinen ausprobiert, aber diese ist jetzt in ständiger Benutzung! Top wäre es, wenn es noch einen Arm zum Ausklappen gäbe, um auch mehr als 15 cm abmessen und schneiden zu können. Funktioniert aber auch so, wenn man sich anhand des Lineals entlang der Schneidefläche eine Markierung setzt und dann schneidet. Es gibt keine Furche, in der sich Papierreste bzw. Papierstaub festsetzen und somit die Schnittkante unsauber aussehen lassen. Das Ergebnis ist genau so, als würde man einen Hebel-Schneider benutzen. Ich bin auch nach längerer Benutzung sehr zufrieden!

Compré esta máquina para un uso intenso aunque esporádico. Tenía que hacer más de mil cortes en papel fotográfico de 250 gramos. Tras haber finalizado la tarea la verdad es que estoy bastante contento. La máquina es robusta, tiene poco peso aunque da sensación de calidad. Tiene el tamaño justo para un folio A4 aunque es cierto que al realizar cortes horizontales, el papel ocupa todo el espacio de la máquina y es complicado ser preciso ya que no se pueden tomar referencias con el borde. Con el papel de 250g, en cortes horizontales, la máquina corta dos hojas sin niniguna dificultad. He llegado a probar hasta con 4, requería un poco de esfuerzo pero aun así el corte era limpio. El carro con la cuchilla es facil de desmontar de su guía, tras un uso intenso conviene limpiar los residuos de papel que se le puedan quedar. La cuchilla parece intercambiable aunque no se que tipo de recambios usa.
