This grinder is reliable and well built. Pretty smooth functionality. We use these grinders almost daily on stone and masonry and they last about as long as any others and at a lower price

If you've never used a Metabo before, you'll notice the difference as soon as you pick it up.Feels like quality, if that makes sense. They asked for an ergonomic rating, and none of these things are made for ergonomictricityness, they are all a bit of a PITA to use. this is just the best one I've used. it is slightly heavier than the Porter Cable it replaced.Would definitely buy again.

Powerful, works good with my speed controller.

The motor seized after 5 minutes. Have a replacement coming, so hopefully it was just a fluky thing. Seemed to start off as a nice solid grinder.

Like the price and quality. Can’t speak for this to be a “pro” tool but for the average homeowner this is about right. Just be aware that Amazon has the incorrect wheel bundled under frequently bought together. This requires a Type 27 wheel.

I was hoping to smooth out a freshly cemented patio that was made rough by some concrete splatters. However, within just 30 seconds of "grinding" with very little downward pressure, this grinder became hot, smoked and began smelling as if it was about to catch fire. I did not even get to grind a full square inch before this thing essentially rolled over and died on me. Had I known, I would not have made this my choice for ANY sort of grinding project.
