For the money, this is a very nice stand. It looks nice, holds the swords well, and is easy to assemble. I already have the two blade version of the stand and just bought this three version. The two version went together fast and easy, but the three unit version was a different story. The holes in the base pieces were drilled a bit off center, and would not properly line up with the holes in the side pieces. This issue was an easy fix, however. I simply expanded the holes with a drill bit until the holes lined up. I placed a few drops of glue on both ends of the wooden pins and assembled the unit as instructed. Everything went together well, no worries. In spite of this minor glitch, it's a nice stand.

This is such a lovely piece, simple and yet elegant. I chose this slightly more expensive item over the less priced one on a whim and am so glad I did. The assembly was in moments, not even minutes. It is stable in stance and holds the sword without any wobbling. After watching a you tube video on the proper way to display a katana (very easy to find this video) the only concern I had was to display the handle to the left or right. In times of peace to the left, but as we are keeping it by the front door as a possible defense (heaven help us if we actually need a sword for a break in but it is more attractive and much better than a baseball bat behind the door) I chose to display the handle to the right. The gold dragon emblem in the middle only adds to the elegance of this piece.

Easy to put together; looks nice. There was black dust all over it which was annoying to clean up but other than that its cool.

Stand was easy to put together and sturdy. It looks great with my kids karate swords in their game room. Helps the kids to know where they are at all times and there’s no more running around before black belt classes looking for them.
