I bought this product to line the leading edge of shelves on our new refrigerator. The plastic on my new fridge looks cheaper than the old one and those took a beating over the years. The product wasn't difficult to apply at all and it has help up very well for the past 4 months or so. Best of all, I don't even notice that it's there. I recall reading several negative reviews and I simply don't know why anyone would complain about this product. It's exactly as described.

The tape is very adhesive and it is pretty thick. But not the easiest to cut and put on without sticking to itself. But stays on very well and don't try to pull up

I got this for my new truck because I wanted to protect the paint inside the door, and at first I thought this stuff was great, but it's nearly impossible to install without bubbles. It's pretty easy to pull up and retry, and you get a big roll, but I just couldn't get it to sit right (I see in some comments/questions that some people used soap and water, but it's adhesive so I didn't want to try that). After a few weeks, I just got custom door trim. Then the real fun started, where I tried to remove this stuff. I ended up getting a blister trying to rub my thumb on it to roll it up. Heat also didn't work. The only thing that really works is to wait till it's cold and then pull SLOWLY with the top layer. Not worth it in my opinion, might as well just spring the extra $$ to get the legit stuff for a car door interior.

I bought this to protect my window sills from my dod’s constant chewing. It works!! He has completely lost interest in anything that has this tape on it. I thought he would like it because it’s very thick and chewy looking texture but he hates it!! And I love it!!

This film seems thick enough to provide protection to my painted door sills. It was simple to apply, and I would advise to do so on a warmish day so the film adheres better. It's easy enough to pull off if you need to realign if you put a little muscle into it. It will restick without any problem. I haven't put it through the test yet: Putting heavy-footed passengers into my car. But I'm pretty confident it will be durable enough to withstand a few shoe drags and scuffs. If not, I will update my review.

Purchased this for door sill protection. Too thick to be traceless as it was described. Has no peel off backing so difficult to pre-cut and install. Sending back and purchasing a 3M product which I should have done in the first place.

This was actually much thicker than I expected which was perfect. I bought this to put on the inside of my door and base of my car doors. They often get scratch marks from shoes when people climb out. I learned my lesson in a previous vehicle and wanted to get something early on to prevent the scratches. So far this has held up in 25 degree weather and I’m satisfied. It doesn’t feel as sticky as you would want but don’t get discouraged by that. Once you press it down it actually grips well. I held my hands on top for 20 secs or so to let it adhere better.
