Not impressed... But decent for the price.
First of all, the product was shipped in a lightly padded envelope and was received bent (see photos). I was able to bend it back to the correct shape and it seems to be fine. Secondly, it doesn't seem quite the quality of the filter that came with my microwave as it was more 'see-through' than the original (although neither really seem like they do much of anything, to be honest). This filter had just slightly bigger dimensions than the original filter but fit fine anyway (although neither fit snuggly). In the photos, the new filter is the one with the bend marks in the sides. The old filter (the original) is the one without the bend marks.Overall, not really impressed, but it'll do the job and was about 1/4th the price of a filter on GE's website, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

Significantly thinner filter than original
The charcoal filter is significantly thinner than the original, about one third the thickness of the original. I haven’t used the filter long enough to speak on the effectiveness but there is certainly a difference in quality. Given the cost, I would not purchase this again and would rather opt for a more expensive genuine filter.

Worked like a charm
Easy. More work to take the cover off the microwave. Best thing was delivery was faster than had I ordered it from GE direct

Overpriced and not as good as what comes with your microwave
I have a 6 month old model PVM9215SK3SS GE microwave. The replace filter light came on a few days ago. I bought a couple of these charcoal filters, one to replace the current filter now, and another one for next time.I pulled the old filter and compared it to the new one. On the old filter, the charcoal material is thick and completely opaque, while on the new filter, the material is thin enough that I can easily see through it. There is obviously a difference in the quality of this "genuine replacement part" versus the original. -1 star for that.Given the above, my second thought is that these filters are overpriced at a list priced of $15.91 each. I got mine on sale for $13.79 each. Still, I don't think these are worth more than $8. -1 star for that. Obviously secondary products like this are where the manufacturer expects to turn a profit. This kind of filter probably isn't even a necessity on a microwave for most people. After pulling the old filter from my microwave, I inspected and cleaned a few miscellaneous specs off of it. I don't use my microwave that heavily, not more than a few times a week at most. I'm not convinced the filter really even needs to be replaced right now. I popped it back in and reset the light. I'll use it for another 6 months, then I'll try one of these cheapo replacement filters I bought.

All good.
No issues

Fits like OEM filter
It was the proper size so it fits fine. The charcoal material appears less dense than the OEM filter so I don't know if it will perform as well.

JVM7195SK6SS owners beware
This isn't the right filter for my model, which was manufactured in May 2021. Amazon says it is, GE says it is. But when I went to install it, I discovered that the original charcoal filter was a completely different size, shape, and style. The original filter mine came with is actually identical an OEM LG microwave filter. There wasn't any way for this GE filter to even be installed. IF you have the model I have, do yourself a favor and take a look before you trust this will be correct.

Fine
It is what it says it is, but I'm not convinced it does much. I have replaced it twice over the last year, but it never seems to get dirty, even though I run the vent a lot while cooking. Not sure if it isn't getting dirty because of the filter or the design of the vent, but I don't think it needs to be replaced very often.
